3rd-Grader Told to Remove ‘Jesus Loves Me’ Face Mask

A third-grade pupil in Mississippi was robbed of her First Amendment rights when her school forced her to take off a mask that said “Jesus Loves Me,” a new lawsuit claims.

Lydia Booth, 9, was ordered by her principal to remove the mask Oct. 13 at Simpson Central Elementary School in Pinola — claiming that it went against district policy, news station WLBT reported.

The school later issued a statement banning any mask that displays “political, religious, sexual or any inappropriate symbols, gestures or statements that may be offensive, disruptive or deemed distractive to the school environment.”

The Alliance Defending Freedom filed a federal lawsuit Monday on her family’s behalf claiming the district violated her free speech.

“Public schools have a duty to respect the free expression of students that the First Amendment guarantees to them,” ADF attorney Michael Ross said.

“Other students within the school district have freely worn masks with the logos of local sports teams or even the words ‘Black Lives Matter.’ This student deserves an equal opportunity to peacefully express her beliefs.”

Mike Lindell: Free, Clean Speech Social Media Site Set to Launch Monday

MyPillow’s Mike Lindell announced on April 15 that his new social media platform called “Frank,” with the mission of providing a place for free speech as laid out in the U.S. Constitution, will launch on April 19.

In a video statement, Lindell said he’s taken steps to make sure the site is most secure, with his own servers, and will not be subject to censorship on the whims of big tech companies such as Amazon and Google.

“And we are going to get our voice of free speech out there,” Lindell said. “On Monday morning at 9 a.m., we’re going to have the biggest launch. … I call it a Frank-a-thon.”

“I’m going to be on there live all day long. … It’s like a YouTube Twitter combination; you’ve never seen anything like it,” Lindell said of his new project.

“You’re not going to have to worry about what you’re saying and worry about being able to speak out freely.”

He added that the exceptions to this are speech that threatens violence and using foul language, which will not be permitted.

“You don’t get to use the four swear words—the C-word, the N-word, the F-word, or God’s name in vain. Free speech is not pornography; free speech isn’t ‘I’m going to kill you,’” he said.

Many conservatives have been censored by social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook or have had their posts labeled as inaccurate. A Pew 2020 survey took a random national sample of almost 5,000 people and found that most Americans think social media sites censor users based on political viewpoints.

In addition, the survey found that conservatives trust social media companies much less than liberals do when it comes to them making a determination about which post should be labeled as inaccurate. Ninety percent of conservatives have little to no confidence in the platform’s ability to label a post fairly, as compared to 52 percent of liberal users.

Congressional Republicans are trying to hold big companies accountable for what they call censoring of conservatives, by curtailing Section 230, which is part of the Communications Decency Act (CDA) of 1996, which largely provides protection to big tech companies from being sued for content on their websites. While many bills have been introduced in Congress by GOP lawmakers, none have become law.

Cardi B On Defunding The Police: ‘We Need Cops And That’s Facts’

Controversial rapper Cardi B came out against defunding the police in a now-deleted tweet on Thursday night where she dismissed the idea as “bulls**t.”

In responding to a tweet that stated, “defund the police,” Cardi B said, “That’s bulls**t to me.”

“We need cops and that’s facts we just need strict laws for cops,” she continued. “If you shot somebody just like civilians you will go to jail that same day, get charge[d], wait for bond and go to trial. That will make you think twice about shooting anyone.”

The person made the remark in response to something Cardi B stated prior where she brought up the recent shooting in Chicago where a 13-year-old was killed by police after he tried to run and was armed with handgun.

“That video of that 13-year-old falling on his a*s after getting shot by a cop is so sick, sad and disgusting. I’m so tired of police brutality & entitlement,” she tweeted. “We are sooo tired of it. When will it end? like this s**t is becoming too much. It’s truly traumatizing.”

Why Twitter Slapped Project Veritas’ James O’Keefe with a Permanent Ban

This is the end of James O’Keefe on Twitter.

The Project Veritas founder was in the midst of revealing a new investigative report about the inner workings at CNN, among other things, exposing what we’ve known for years about the network. It’s a hub for Democratic Party messaging.

They caught a technical director openly admitting CNN’s main goal was to boot Trump from office, and how they manipulated stories about Trump’s health and that of Biden’s to make the latter look healthier.

The person admits this is total propaganda and later says they’re pulling the same media antics against Rep. Matt Gaetz(R-FL). And yes, CNN played up the COVID death toll for ratings. Again, something we all knew but now we have video evidence.

But now, Twitter has permanently banned O’Keefe. It supposedly relates to the use of fake accounts to “artificially amplify or disrupt conversations.”

I think it might have more to do with Big Tech censorship. I don’t know—I’m just throwing that out there (sarc.).

Yet again, we have these companies making the case for why they’re not really private companies, but public utilities that require regulation. Oh, yes—and they’re enemies of the people.

Son of the late Justice Scalia: Packing Supreme Court would decrease Dems’ power

Christopher Scalia calls the new legislation a ‘transparent power play’

Christopher Scalia, son of the late Justice Antonin Scalia, argued on “Cavuto: Coast to Coast” on Thursday that if the new legislation to expand the high court from 9 to 13 justices passes, it “would kind of increase the likelihood” of Democrats losing power.

Democrats need to remember they’re not always going to be in power, believe it or not, and it could be just in two years that they’re not in power anymore,” Scalia told host Neil Cavuto

“And in fact, I think that this bill passing would kind of increase the likelihood of them losing power.”

He stressed that he doesn’t believe that packing the Supreme Court is a popular idea.

“I think packing the court is unpopular. That’s why President Biden dodged the issue when he was on the campaign trail and that’s why Nancy Pelosi doesn’t support this bill right now,” Scalia said. “They know it is unpopular.”

A spokesperson for Biden and Pelosi did not immediately respond to FOX Business’ request for comment.

Biden has been cool to court-packing and has only endorsed setting up a 36-member bipartisan commission to study court reforms.

China’s first quarter GDP grows at record pace as recovery speeds up

While the reading is heavily skewed by the plunge in activity a year earlier, the increase is the strongest since at least 1992

China’s economic recovery quickened sharply in the first quarter from a coronavirus-induced slump earlier last year, propelled by stronger demand at home and abroad and continued government support for smaller firms.

Gross domestic product (GDP) jumped a record 18.3% in the first quarter from a year earlier, official data showed on Friday, slower than the 19% forecast by economists in a Reuters poll, and following 6.5% growth in the fourth quarter last year.

While the reading is heavily skewed by the plunge in activity a year earlier, the increase is the strongest since at least 1992, when official quarterly records started.

“China’s Q1 started good, especially in retail sales, which was behind the economic recovery – going forward, the focus point would be how to continue the growth and manage the financial risk,” said Marco Sun, chief financial markets analyst at MUFG Bank in Shanghai.

“Speaking of managing the financial risk, we are likely to see quantitative tightening via guidance on credit growth in Q2 and maybe longer.”

BLM Threatens Legal Action Against One Of Their Own Activists After Call For Finances Investigation

  • “So the issue has become my affiliation and not the use of funds. Interesting.”

The National Black Lives Matter organisation is threatening legal action against one of its own activists after he called for an independent investigation into how finances are being spent, following revelations concerning co-founder Patrisse Khan-Cullors’ property spending binge, and further money raking activities.

As we highlighted yesterday, Hawk Newsome, who heads up a Black Lives Matter group in Greater New York City, made the call for an investigation, telling the New York Post “If you go around calling yourself a socialist, you have to ask how much of her own personal money is going to charitable causes.”

Newsome said “black firms and black accountants” should conduct an audit on BLM Global Network Foundation to “find out where the money is going.”

“It’s really sad because it makes people doubt the validity of the movement and overlook the fact that it’s the people that carry this movement,” Newsome added.

After labelling the developments a “false and dangerous story” being pushed by “right wing forces” and “white supremacists”, it has now emerged that BLM is attempting to silence other black activists who are speaking out.

The Daily Caller sought comments from BLM, and the group claimed that Newsome “is not and has never been a part of the official Black Lives Matter organization, but continues to use BLM’s name even after sending him multiple cease and desist letters. Therefore, any mention of him as a leader is not factual.”

BLM’s communications arm further noted that “Only BLM chapters who adhere to BLM’s principles and code of ethics are permitted to use the BLM name.”

Responding to the comments, Newsome said “So the issue has become my affiliation and not the use of funds. Interesting.”

Dizzying Array Of Various ‘Vaccine Passports’ On The Way

As more and more Americans get the coronavirus vaccine, the nation’s businesses and states will likely have a dizzying array of requirements regarding vaccination, or the lack of one, that their customers will be forced to maneuver.

Axios reports that a maze of vaccine passports is on the horizon as some states and many businesses plow “ahead with methods of verifying that people have been vaccinated, despite conservative resistance to ‘vaccine passports.’”

Many conservative Americans, and those wary of government involvement in any kind of vaccination verification system, are resisting a new American society where brandishing proof of vaccine cards are the new “normal.”

Georgetown University Professor Lawrence Gostin told Axios of the number of businesses requiring proof of vaccination, “I think it’s going to be a tidal wave that’s going to be very difficult to stop, because there’s enormous economic and social incentive for proof of vaccinations.”

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) has banned state agencies, political subdivisions, and organizations that receive public funds from creating vaccine passports, or “otherwise requiring someone to provide proof of a COVID-19 vaccine in order to receive services.”

CNN director admitting coverage of black-on-Asian hate crimes would ‘set back’ BLM movement

“A bunch of black men that have been attacking Asians,” Chester said. “I’m like ‘what are you doing?’ Like… we’re trying to like help like with the BLM.”

CNN technical director Charles Chester was caught on camera by Project Veritas stating that CNN tailors its reporting to support the Black Lives Matter movement.

“I was trying to do some research on like the Asian hate, like the people are getting attacked and whatnot. A bunch of black men that have been attacking Asians,” Chester said. “I’m like ‘what are you doing?’ Like we’re trying to like help like with the BLM.”

Chester stated that reporting on crimes against Asians committed by black people is not good for optics, as it would upset people on the far-left.

“I mean, it’s individuals, it’s not a people, you know? That’s not good. The optics of that are not good.”

Project Veritas’ James O’Keefe Announces He’s Suing Twitter After Being Banned

Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe announced Thursday on Fox News’ “Hannity” that he’s suing Twitter following the banning of his account by the social media giant.

O’Keefe’s account was permanently suspended just days after Project Veritas began releasing video footage that appeared to show CNN technical director Charlie Chester admitting the network uses “propaganda.”

“A lot of lawsuits coming from Project Veritas here. We won in the Supreme Court in New York against The New York Times for defamation, and now we’re going to go ahead and sue Twitter for suspending my account and falsely and maliciously claiming that I did something that I did not do,” O’Keefe said in response to host Sean Hannity’s questions about the lawsuit.

O’Keefe and Project Veritas is currently involved in an ongoing lawsuit against The New York Times, Fox News reported.
