Vaccine Passports Could Easily Bring China’s Social Credit System to America

Before most football seasons, news that you might be restricted from attending a Buffalo Bills game might actually be a small mercy.

But we are living in interesting times, and with the Bills as one of the early favorites to compete for Super Bowl LVI, news out of Buffalo that proof of full vaccination will be required to attend Bills home games is raising eyebrows.

Has there ever been a time in history when we have trusted technology companies less than we do today, both with our information and to do the right thing?

A vaccine passport, pure and simple, is the state working with powerful technology companies to determine whether you will have the documentation to fit into a certain class of people. That class of people is those who have been fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus.

Eric J. Purchase, managing partner of nearby Erie, Pennsylvania, law firm, Purchase, George & Murphey, sees vaccine passports as potentially legally complex.

“While many in our area see attending a Bills game as a constitutional right, it’s not, no matter how awesome they are. However, where people will be denied participation in constitutionally protected activities, such as attending a religious service or a public demonstration, because they refuse to obtain or present a vaccine passport, the courts are bound to strike this down.”

The problems with vaccine passports do not begin or end with the law. The issue is really how much trust we have left in large tech companies.

Fact Check the Left: Was Daunte Wright Stopped by Police Because of a Car Air Freshener?

The air freshener has become a symbol in the tragic shooting of Daunte Wright. Wright was shot and killed by police in Brooklyn Center outside of Minneapolis on April 11 during a traffic stop gone bad. It’s sparked waves of unrest in the area that’s already a tinder box over the Derek Chauvin trial. Chauvin is the officer who was involved in the death of George Floyd last year that sparked a whole summer of mayhem from leftist thugs. Now, with his trial wrapping up this week, the area has to deal with yet another officer-involved death.

Kim Potter was the police officer who shot and killed Wright after mistaking her service weapon for a taser. It’s all captured on video. The question is how? Potter is a 20-plus year veteran on the force, and she trains rookie officers. She resigned from the police department and later charged with second-degree manslaughter. She made a mistake, yes—but that’s not a get-out-of-jail card.

Yet, Wright’s mother said her son was pulled over for having an air freshener on his rearview mirror. It was one of the last conversations she had with her son. It’s becoming a rallying cry for the liberal masses, but is it true? From the outside, you’d think so, as the fences protecting the Brooklyn Center Police Department are littered with them. 

VERDICT: Not True. Wright was pulled over for having expired tags. Yes, an air freshener was also noted during the stop, but it was the tags that caused the traffic stop. Upon running his records, it was discovered that Wright had skipped out on a court date concerning a weapons charge which led to officers attempting to arrest him. You know the rest. The Associated Press and NBC News all noted the expired tags as the reason for the stop. Prior to his resignation, police chief Tim Gannon mentioned this already as well. This is not some outlier explanation.

Psaki Fails To Condemn Rep. Waters’ Call To Violence

White House spokesperson Jen Psaki failed to condemn Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) over her recent call to violence in Minnesota.

“Congresswoman Maxine Waters said over the weekend that we’ve got to stay on the street and we’ve got to get more active, we’ve got to get more confrontational, we’ve got to make sure they know that we mean business. Does the president agree with what she said about getting more confrontational?” a reporter asked Psaki.

“Well I can speak to the president’s view, he has been very clear that he recognizes the issue of police violence,” Psaki responded.

In a news briefing on Monday, Psaki evaded the direct question about Waters and chose to accuse the police of violence and racism. She also signaled support for far-left terror groups Antifa and BLM.

COVID Databases Are Among Us, And Governors Must Fight And Win Now — Or Never

So what can politicians do to protect their citizens from being coerced into experimental medical procedures and surveillance databases they aren’t comfortable with?

COVID-19 vaccine passports are on the march. Before long, if not already, you might need one to return to work, travel, visit your parents, attend a sports game or even a friend’s wedding. We’re well on our way already and Democrats — once the doubters of databases, IDs, and corporations — are all-in. With Republicans in Washington nearly two years from regaining any power, the battle, then, comes down to the states.

But will Republicans governors have the courage to break with the political, corporate, and global elites? Will they have the will to tell government agencies and private businesses they have no right to demand the citizens of their states subject themselves to an experimental vaccine?

Also, why should they block citizens from choosing to hand over their private data to a corporate database in exchange for trade and travel? Do the citizens of states like South Dakota, Texas, and Tennessee even have to worry about this new regime being forced on them at all?

First, there is reason to be worried no matter where you live, because this regime is coming for us. The most powerful elites in the world are enthusiastically in favor of it, and for the past year they’ve gotten their way on pretty much every single thing they’ve demanded by attaching “COVID-19” to it. Teachers unions, election integrity, and even religious liberty have all been manipulated under this guise, no matter how little they have to do with the actual disease. So how are these forces progressing on this initiative?

IBM first launched a COVID passport on Oct. 12, just weeks after the National Institute of Health awarded them a contract to develop “an integrated solution that supports sophisticated contact tracing and verifiable health status reporting.” IBM’s tech-chic website tells visitors their product is “Designed to provide organizations with a smart way to bring people back to a physical location during COVID-19.”

MyPillow Sues Dominion Voting Systems for $1.6 Billion

MyPillow sued Dominion Voting Systems on April 19 for $1.6 billion, asserting that the election technology company unlawfully interfered with the free speech rights of CEO Mike Lindell.

Attorneys for MyPillow claim that Dominion has engaged in bullying of Lindell, a strong supporter of former President Donald Trump, over his attempts to speak out about allegations of fraud in the 2020 presidential election. In February, Dominion sued Lindell and his company for defamation, seeking $1.3 billion.

“Defendants, in their role as agents of the state administering public elections, have conducted an expansive illegal campaign which was designed to, and did, punish and silence any voice that criticized or questioned Defendants’ actions or products,” the lawyers wrote in the 51-page suit, which was obtained by The Epoch Times.

“Defendants’ illegal campaign to punish and silence their critics violates the Free Speech Clause of the First Amendment as applied to the states and their political subdivisions and agents under the Fourteenth Amendment and 42 U.S.C. § 1983.”

The suit was filed in the U.S. District Court in Minnesota.

Lindell, in a live stream on his new Frank Speech website on April 19, called the matter “the most important case in history for your First Amendment rights”

Dominion legal counsel Stephen Shackelford told The Epoch Times via email, “This is a meritless retaliatory lawsuit, filed by MyPillow to try to distract from the harm it caused to Dominion.”

Bill Maher: ‘I Don’t Want Politics Mixed in With My Medical Decisions’

Political commentator, comedian and host of “Real Time with Bill Maher” calls out the media for pushing COVID “panic porn.” Maher said polls show Dems are “wildly off” when it comes to how many people are in danger of being hospitalized for the virus.

Bill Maher’s latest new rule is this: “Don’t spin me when it comes to my health.”

In the segment below, the political commentator, comedian and host of “Real Time with Bill Maher” accuses the medical establishment, media and the government of taking a “scared straight” approach to getting people to comply with their COVID recommendations.

“When all the sources for medical information have an agenda to spin us, you wind up with a badly informed public,” Maher said.

The truth, said Maher, is that only between 1% – 5% of people end up needing to be hospitalized for COVID, despite the media’s non-stop “panic porn.”

Not only that, citing figures from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Maher said 78% of people who end up “hospitalized, ventilated or dead” from COVID are obese — something news outlets are “too polite” to talk about.

What the media isn’t hesitant to do is to policitize COVID — a phenomenon Maher said he finds offensive: “I don’t want politics mixed in with my medical decisions.”

In his “New Rule” segment, Maher — whose political views are largely seen as ranging from liberal to libertarian — revealed findings from a Gallup poll showing about 70% of Democrats were “wildly off” on the key question of how many people who get COVID end up being hospitalized. The poll showed liberals have a “greatly exaggerated” view of the danger of COVID, and of the mortality rate among children. 

“If the right-wing media bubble has to own things like climate denial,” Maher said, “shouldn’t the liberal media have to answer for ‘how did your audience wind up believing such a lot of crap about COVID’?”
