Using Defense Funds To “Reduce the Role of Nuclear Weapons” Irresponsible

  • Reducing the nuclear modernization budget is incompatible with maintaining a “strong, credible nuclear deterrent.” You can’t have it both ways.
  • With nuclear modernization already late-to-need, delays could stick the U.S. with Cold War capabilities whose deterrence value erodes as they continue to age.
  • Never before has the United States had to deter two peer adversaries—and deter them differently—at the same time.

The administration is sending mixed signals on nuclear modernization.

The president’s “skinny budget” declares it would maintain “a strong, credible nuclear deterrent for the security of the Nation and U.S. allies.” Yet his Interim National Security Strategy Guidance states: “We will take steps to reduce the role of nuclear weapons in our national security strategy while ensuring our strategic deterrent remains safe, secure, and effective.”

Those “steps” might include cutting the nuclear modernization budget. Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Leonor Tomero recently suggested as much, stressing that “some plans are very expensive.”

But reducing the nuclear modernization budget is incompatible with maintaining a “strong, credible nuclear deterrent.” You can’t have it both ways—cuts to modernization programs would likely weaken deterrence in the face of advancing nuclear threats.

The notion that the U.S. can maintain a strong deterrent while cutting the nuclear modernization budget flies in the face of repeated warnings, most recently voiced by both Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. John Hyten and Commander of U.S. Strategic Command Adm. Charles Richard, that nuclear modernization is already “late-to-need.”

After years of deferring the recapitalization of nuclear systems, the United States has no choice but to provide the necessary funding or face delays in key delivery schedules. Of course, cost savings based on engineering or manufacturing efficiencies would be welcome, but making reductions that would delay or harm programs for the sake of saving money would ignore the current reality.

To that point, last year former Pentagon acquisition chief Ellen Lord testified that even minor cuts to the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD)—the replacement program for intercontinental ballistic missiles—would result in schedule delays.

With nuclear modernization already late-to-need, delays could stick the United States with Cold War capabilities whose deterrence value erodes as they continue to age.

SCIENCE STUPIDITY: Hollywood celebrities will only be required to wear a mask at Oscars during commercial breaks

The 93rd annual Academy Awards is scheduled to take place this Sunday primarily at Union Station in downtown Los Angeles, and the masking requirements for Hollywood celebrities in attendance are too ridiculous not to mention.

According to reports, the stars will be allowed to take off the mask whenever the cameras are rolling, which obviously constitutes a bulk of the ceremony. The minute the program goes to a commercial break, however, celebrities will supposedly have to cover their faces to keep everyone “safe.”

While seated in the main show room and on camera, Hollywood’s “finest” will be allowed to exist naturally without a face covering. When the cameras turn off, however, or when celebrities move between two adjacent courtyards, masks will be required as a condition of movement.

The Academy has not offered any explanation for this bizarre mask policy, which like the “keep your mask on until seated” nonsense at restaurants makes no logical or scientific sense. If there really is a deadly virus lurking underneath those masks, it will surely escape the minute they come down for a person to eat or make an appearance on camera.

The decision comes as Resident Joe Biden pleads with America to stay masked “until everyone is, in fact, vaccinated,” this being a deviation from his earlier request before the inauguration that America stay masked just for the course of his first 100 days in office.

“Masks are going to play a very important role in the story of this evening,” stated Oscar-winning filmmaker Steven Soderbergh. “I know it’s not going to be like anything that’s been done before, so we’re leaning into that.”

What better place to hold a plandemic theater performance than the Oscars?

This writer’s first thought upon hearing the news is that this could all just be a cover to make it seem like Hollywood celebrities have to abide by the same rules that the peons do. By merely claiming that all Oscar attendees have to wear a mask when the cameras are off, the Academy will limit the fallout from those who might say, hey, why are they allowed to not wear a mask and we have to?

The world will never really know if the celebrities who attend the Oscars wore a mask at all times when not on camera because there will be no video evidence to prove one way or another. Think of it as just another Hollywood acting gig, if you will.

2021 Report Details Persecution of Biblical Proportions: ‘This Bomb Reverberates on Every Corner of the Globe’

WASHINGTON – Christians are being persecuted around the world at a pace not seen since the first century, one expert says.

The news comes as China terrorizes millions of Muslims while conducting business as usual with the world.

“For a very small budget, every year the United States government drops this bomb in the human rights community that reverberates on every corner of the globe,” Johnnie Moore told CBN News. He’s one of nine commissioners appointed to the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF).

He’s talking about the release of a bombshell report on the state of religious freedom around the world — a grim tale of staggering proportions.

The 2021 USCIRF report released on Wednesday highlights these facts:

  • 50,000 Christians held in North Korean prison camps
  • Some 3,000 Yazidi girls and women missing in Iraq
  • 130,000 Muslims in internment camps in Burma
  • As many as 3 million Uighur Muslims in Chinese concentration camps

“In our first report we raised concern 22 years ago about what the Chinese Communist Party was already then doing to the Uighur community,” Moore explained, but the world didn’t pay attention.

Now the communist regime works to reprogram an entire community while subjecting some of its own citizens to barbaric procedures like organ harvesting.

“They’re even promoting and marketing the Uighur organs to Muslim majority countries,” noted USCIRF Commissioner Nury Turkel, a Uighur Muslim who has experienced China’s persecution first hand.

“They find two religions: Islam and Christianity particularly problematic for the survival and existence of the communist party,” Turkel said at a press conference.

The report identifies countries of particular concern (CPC) which are the worst offenders.

Ten of those are already designated as such by the State Department:  Burma, China, Eritrea, Iran, Nigeria, North Korea, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan.

The USCIRF recommends adding India, Russia, Syria, and Vietnam to the list.

U.S. and NATO ally Turkey is listed as a tier-two offender.

“We’re not letting them sleep one night without screaming at the top of our lungs in a bipartisan way Republican and Democrat to make sure they can do what they chose to do but they’re not going to do it in the shadows,” Moore continued.

Dysfunctional US economy propped up by countries supplying it with goods it can’t produce itself – Peter Schiff

America has turned into a consumption economy, according to veteran stockbroker Peter Schiff, who points out that economies can’t run on consumption because then they become “bubble economies.”

According to Schiff, a vibrant healthy economy needs production “Because you cannot consume what is not first produced.”

“Since our economy is so weak and we’re unable to produce the things that we’re consuming, America relies on strong international economies that are able to produce what we consume,” he said.

“How long will the rest of the world subsidize America’s standard of living?” the economist asked. “How long will other countries prop up a dysfunctional, weakening US economy by supplying it with goods it cannot produce for itself?”

CEO OF Cyber Ninja, Former Ariz. Secy. Of State Hold Press Conference On Ballot Audit In Phoenix

The Arizona ballot audit has begun with election officials poised and ready to oversee the hand recount of more than 2.1 million ballots.

Former Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett and Cyber Ninjas CEO Doug Logan spoke to reporters at the Veteran Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix, Arizona on Thursday night to explain how auditors will accurately verify each ballot.

Bennett opened the conference by dispelling left-wing talking points and reiterating that the procedures were the focus and not the opinions of anyone involved.

Logan touched upon the cameras located around the arena. He showed the press the positions of all nine cameras stationed around the coliseum, which are all tasked with the purpose of ensuring accountability of the process.

Trump: LeBron James’ Tweets on Teen’s Death Are ‘Racist Rants’

Former President Donald Trump is slamming the NBA’s LeBron James for his tweets about the police officer who shot and killed 16-year-old Columbus, Ohio resident Ma’Khia Bryant, calling the Los Angeles Lakers superstar’s comments “racist rants” that are “divisive, nasty, insulting, and demeaning.”

“LeBron James should focus on basketball rather than presiding over the destruction of the NBA, which has just recorded the lowest television RATINGS, by far, in the long and distinguished history of the League,” Trump said in a statement released by his office Thursday night.

“His RACIST rants are divisive, nasty, insulting, and demeaning. He may be a great basketball player, but he is doing nothing to bring our Country together!” the former president added. James on Wednesday posted a photograph of Nicholas Reardon, identified as the police officer who shot the teenager, and added the words “YOU’RE NEXT #ACCOUNTABILITY.”

He pulled the tweet down after an outcry from people who said he was inciting violence against Reardon, but did not walk back his statements over the shooting and other incidents of violence.

“I’m so damn tired of seeing Black people killed by police,” James, who is from Ohio, wrote. “I took the tweet down because its being used to create more hate — This isn’t about one officer.  It’s about the entire system and they always use our words to create more racism. I am so desperate for more ACCOUNTABILITY.”

He also wrote that “ANGER does any of us any good and that includes myself! Gathering all the facts and educating does though! My anger still is here for what happened that lil girl. My sympathy for her family and may justice prevail!”

Twitter repeatedly censored Trump’s posts over accusations of misinformation and later permanently suspended his account in the wake of the Jan. 6 assault on the U.S. Capitol

“After close review of recent Tweets from the @realDonaldTrump account and the context around them — specifically how they are being received and interpreted on and off Twitter — we have permanently suspended the account due to the risk of further incitement of violence,” Twitter said in booting Trump.

Texas Sues Biden for Ignoring COVID-19 Rules at the Southern Border

Texas has filed a fresh federal lawsuit against President Joe Biden arguing his policies violate federal law and are causing an influx of illegal aliens infected with the CCP virus that causes COVID-19, which jeopardizes public health and the burgeoning economic recovery.

The new legal proceeding, the seventh filed by Texas against the Biden administration since the president’s inauguration, seeks a return to Trump-era border policies.

“President Biden’s outright disregard of the public health crisis in Texas by welcoming and encouraging mass gatherings of illegal aliens is hypocritical and dangerous,” Attorney General Ken Paxton, a Republican, said in a statement.

“This reckless policy change stifles the reopening of the Texas economy at a time when businesses need it the most and when our children need to get back to in-person learning as soon as possible. Law and order must be immediately upheld and enforced to ensure the safety of our communities and the reopening of the strongest economy of the country.”

Paxton said earlier this year that illegal aliens cost Texas taxpayers an estimated $855 million each year.

The legal complaint filed April 22 in U.S. District Court in Fort Worth names Biden, the Departments of Health and Human Services (HHS) and Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as defendants.

The complaint details how Biden’s policies —each a sharp departure from previous Trump policies— has allegedly led to a surge of COVID 19-infected illegal aliens into the United States and Texas, endangering public health on a national basis while straining the resources of Texas.

Each one of the actions that has contributed to the dramatic border surge, such as the policy of releasing unaccompanied children and families after putting them in crowded detention settings where the novel coronavirus can spread, is unlawful, unjustified, and in violation of the U.S. Constitution and procedural norms, the lawsuit states.

Portland Woman Laments Destruction Of Popeyes Chicken Restaurant By BLM Rioters

“Look at these kids, these kids done grown up in this community, now they can’t even sit down and eat a piece of chicken because they done tore up the damn store.”

WARNING: EXPLICIT CONTENT

Video footage from Portland, Oregon shows a local woman lamenting the vandalism and damage inflicted on a nearby Popeye’s chicken fast-food restaurant, chastising rioters for “tearing down our community.”

Asked by a reporter what she thought of the vandalism, a woman going by the name Lady Leo stated, “I think that it’s some bulls***, I think that they are tearing down our community, and they teachin’ our kids wrong. Look at these kids, these kids done grown up in this community, now they can’t even sit down and eat a piece of chicken because they done tore up the damn store. That s*** crazy!”

“I been comin’ here since I was like, a baby,” Lady Leo continued, gesturing to the destroyed Popeyes. “This don’t make no sense, this is just sad, it’s a sad situation though, seriously. That’s what i think about it.”

Lady Leo’s sister then chimed in to say that Lady Leo was at the restaurant because she had seen the looting on her sister’s livestream.

Attorney Who Helped Trump Fight 2020 Election In Court Announces Run For State Legislature

Pro-Trump Attorney Wren Williams is Fighting the Political Establishment in Patrick County, VA

Wren Williams, an America First attorney who helped President Trump battle election fraud in court, is challenging incumbent Charles Poindexter for the GOP nomination to the House of Delegates in Virginia’s 9th District. In taking on Poindexter, Williams faces pushback from all ends of the local uni-party political establishment, which has come out in staunch support of his opponent.

Encompassing all of Patrick County and portions of Franklin and Henry Counties, the 9th District has been represented by Poindexter since 2008, with the establishment favorite running unopposed or facing scant competition in each campaign for re-election, and never a challenger from within his own party.
