Health body suggested it was racist to impose travel restrictions in early weeks of pandemic.
An independent panel has ruled that the World Health Organization, which in January 2020 suggested it was racist to impose border controls to stop the spread of COVID-19, could have saved over 3 million lives if it had recommended travel restrictions earlier.
The panel has released a report entitled ‘COVID-19: Make it the Last Pandemic’ which concludes that the month of February was “lost” because most countries failed to stop the international flow of people coming from heavily infected regions.
Rose recalled Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg’s donation of $2 million; one million in 2017 and another million in 2019,
“[Sheryl Sandberg] has donated $2 million publicly so far to Planned Parenthood, the biggest abortion chain,” she stated. “Big Tech is notoriously ruled by far-left ideologues, so it’s a huge problem when we talk about the fair and open sharing of information, that these groups are basically colluding with the abortion industry to shut down pro-life voices.”
Microsoft founder Bill Gates appears to be falling out of favor with mainstream media amid claims of his ties to sex-trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.
According to reports Monday, almost every major media outlet has reported about the Gates-Epstein connection and its potential implications Meanwhile, the same media were suppressing the reports of Hunter Biden’s corruption and depravity.
Gates has often been the subject of controversy, particularly regarding the work of his international organization the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation as well as remarks he’s made implying he wishes to reduce the world’s population.
“The world today has 6.8 billion people, that’s headed to about 9 billion,” he stated. “Now if we do a really good job on new vaccines, health care, reproductive health, we could lower that by 10-15 percent.”
“Five little baby girls, all by themselves, hungry crying. One didn’t have any clothes on,” the farmer said.
A Texas farmer found five young girls from Honduras and Guatemala on his property Sunday after their families sent them across the U.S. Border alone.
Ranging from ages 11 months to seven years old, the girls were dehydrated, hungry, and crying when the man came upon them.
Last night I shared a heartbreaking photo of young children found by a farmer on his land in Quemado. While we thank God they were found alive, these tragic scenes are happening more & more.
Today I visited with him & talked about the border crisis. We need a solution now. pic.twitter.com/Zzvk4UgAGc
The farmer, 75-year-old Jimmy Hobbs of Quemado, Texas, said if he didn’t find the girls when he did, they probably would have died.
In fact, Hobbs estimates thousands of border crossers will die this summer from heat exhaustion and dehydration if the current surge of illegals continues.
US Rep. Tony Gonzalez (R-Texas) posted an interview with Hobbs on Sunday along with photos of the girls.
“I was just driving along and all of a sudden I see them there right beside the bank right here on the river. Five little baby girls all by themselves, hungry, crying, one didn’t have any clothes on and wasn’t old enough to walk,” Hobbs told Gonzales.
As Hobbs waited for a backed-up Border Patrol to respond to his call, the farmer had the wife of one of his workers tend to the children.
“I don’t think they would have made it if I hadn’t found them,” Hobbs added.
Hobbs’ wife Katie said, “If this doesn’t make you mad and make you want to take to the streets, I don’t know what will. They have no mother, no father, no nothing. This is one of our workers’ wives right here taking care of this tiny one. No one with these children.”
“It needs to stop right now,” Katie continued. “There’s going to be thousands. This is just five miles of the Rio Grande. That’s a huge border, this is happening all up and down it. It can’t go on. It’s going to be too hot. There are going to be a lot of deaths, a lot of suffering this summer.”
Take a good hard look at the #BidenBorderCrisis These young girls were found outside a ranch near Quemado, Texas in #TX23. The Del Rio Sector border patrol tell me they are uninjured, healthy, and in good spirits. 🙏 @POTUS enough is enough let’s work together solve this crisis. pic.twitter.com/mt5P7ysN9g
The tragic situation taking place at America’s southern border is a glaring example of left-wing hypocrisy as the people who criticized Trump’s immigration policies totally ignore what’s happening under Biden.
Despite having agreed to vacate the White House on 20 January, Trump continues his claims that widespread voter fraud allegedly took place in 2020. However, all of the former Republican president’s claims have been rejected in several courts.
Former US President, Donald Trump, has announced via his personal messaging platform that a “bombshell pleading” was filed as part of his efforts to prove “election fraud” took place in Michigan in 2020. The ex-POTUS did not delve into the details of the “pleading”, but said that according to it “votes were intentionally switched from President Trump to Joe Biden”.
Trump said that the number of these “switched” votes is “massive” and alleged that similar frauds will be found in other states too.
“If a thief robs a jewellery store of all of its diamonds (the 2020 Presidential Election), the diamonds must be returned,” Trump wrote.
The former president also used the opportunity to scold the media for purportedly failing to cover the “voter fraud”, the existence of which Trump’s lawyers have so far failed to prove in courts. Trump went on to claim that eventually, the media will “have no choice” but to cover it.
We got gaslit by Darwin, then hypnotized by Caesar.
(The Stream) The collapse of our churches from apostolic zeal into weak-tea social activism started long ago. In the mid-19th century, in fact. First came geological discoveries revealing how old the earth really is. Then Darwin launched his speculative attempt to explain away the apparent “design” in animals and man. Each seemed to raise doubts about the reliability of the Bible on historical and doctrinal questions. After brief attempts to contest the implications of such theories, most “Mainline Protestant” churches surrendered on that front. They began to shift their emphasis away from personal holiness and evangelism, toward social reform and politics.
Christianity could no longer be trusted, these clergymen admitted, to tell us how things are. That is the domain of Science. But a role still existed for men like themselves, and theology faculties, and churches, they hastened to add! Christianity was the source for how thingsought to be. It told us how we should treat the poor, how we should organize politics and reform both the economy and the law.
Just an Elevated Philosophy of Man
Christianity began to appear as just an elevated philosophy of man, intended to preserve his traditional dignity from the tar pits into which Darwinism threatened to ditch it. Jesus became an exemplar, an inspiration, a “great moral teacher.” Disconcertingly, He was one who tended to insist on His own divinity. And to perform public miracles, culminating at last in His resurrection from the dead and ascension into heaven. Please Support The Stream: Equipping Christians to Think Clearly About the Political, Economic and Moral Issues of Our Day.
That is, if we trust the text of the New Testament. But modern biblical critics were ready to help with that. For centuries, political intellectuals from Machiavelli to Hobbes had aided monarchs eager to aggrandize the State at the Church’s expense by finding “creative” new ways to explain away the plain sense of the Bible.
In the Enlightenment, thinkers eager to secularize the culture as a whole turned these skills on the Bible itself. These critics attacked not just the traditional Christian doctrines derived from the Bible, but the authenticity and reliability of its very texts. Especially in 19th century Germany, in the legally established churches of the Second Reich, state-funded scholars produced an entire methodology they called the “Higher Criticism.”
While it entailed a wide array of apparently “scientific” techniques, at its core this mode of Bible-reading was dedicated to eliminating as “inauthentic” any trace of the supernatural. Hence every miracle attributed to Jesus must be seen as a later “interpolation,” added on by a “church community” instead of attested by eyewitnesses. Scholars strained every nerve to date the texts of the four Gospels themselves as late as possible, sometimes well into the second century. All the better to render them essentially legends, with a mysterious man at their center, whose ethics we find appealing.
