Hollywood Wavers: John Rich Says Trump Praise Signals Woke Collapse

Image via Canva

Country music artist John Rich says recent praise for President Trump from left-leaning Hollywood figures signals that the entertainment industry’s embrace of woke ideology may be collapsing under economic pressure. In a Fox News interview, Rich stated that even former Bernie Sanders supporters in the comedy world are now reconsidering their allegiance, fearful of cancel culture’s stifling effect on free expression.

Woody Allen, one of Hollywood’s most polarizing directors, added to this unexpected trend. In a recent appearance on Bill Maher’s podcast, Allen praised President Trump’s professionalism on the set of the 1998 film Celebrity. Allen described Trump as “very polite,” “a pleasure to work with,” and “a very good actor.” While Allen noted he disagrees with Trump politically and claimed to have voted for Kamala Harris in 2024, the public acknowledgment of Trump’s character and performance was noteworthy.

Rich emphasized that this growing openness to President Trump reflects a shift in Hollywood’s business strategy. According to media expert Eric Schiffer, Hollywood is realizing that vilifying half the country is financially unsustainable. Doug Eldridge of Achilles PR echoed this point, stating that Hollywood follows what is profitable—not necessarily what aligns with progressive politics.

Hollywood’s attempts to maintain relevance by pandering to extreme leftist causes have alienated large segments of their audience. Rich argued that the entertainment industry’s current shift is being driven not by ideology, but by the practical need to win back viewers and customers tired of political lectures and double standards.

The increasing willingness of Hollywood figures to speak positively about President Trump—even in limited contexts—indicates a broader cultural fatigue with woke narratives. For conservative Americans who have long rejected the entertainment industry’s liberal agenda, these developments suggest the grip of political correctness may be loosening, replaced by a slow return to normalcy and market-based decision-making.

Scientific Integrity Under Siege: Paper Mills Flood Journals With Fake Research

A new study from Northwestern University reveals the widespread infiltration of fraudulent research into the global scientific community. Paper mills, dishonest academics, and sham journals have formed a corrupt pipeline flooding legitimate publications with fake studies, undermining public trust in science.

Researchers analyzed retractions across three major databases: Web of Science, Scopus, and PubMed. The study found that organized networks—centered around paper mills—produce fake research at an industrial scale. These papers often involve falsified data, manipulated images, and plagiarized content. While many are published in obscure journals, several make their way into prominent publications due to lax editorial oversight.

Paper mills operate by selling authorship on ghostwritten papers to students, faculty, and professionals seeking to pad their credentials. Some buyers work in hospitals and universities that require publications for advancement. One company, the Academic Research and Development Association (ARDA), expanded from 14 known participating journals in 2018 to 86 by 2024. Despite warnings and de-indexing, these fraud operations adapt quickly to bypass detection.

The damage to medical and scientific credibility is already visible. Only 28.7% of fake papers tied to paper mills have been retracted. In some journals, a small number of editors account for a large portion of retractions. PLOS One, for example, had just 45 editors linked to over 30% of all retracted articles. These editors often approved flawed studies for publication, raising questions about integrity and accountability.

The study also warned that artificial intelligence tools may amplify the impact of fake research. AI systems trained on corrupted data could spread falsehoods in medical, scientific, and public policy discussions. Inaccurate or fraudulent studies already influence decisions in healthcare and education, with dangerous real-world consequences.

Epstein Survivors Demand Full Disclosure in Explosive Capitol Hill Press Conference

Survivors of Jeffrey Epstein’s abuse gathered on Capitol Hill on September 3 to demand the full release of remaining government files tied to Epstein’s network and connections. Flanked by lawmakers, the survivors accused federal agencies of suppressing evidence and urged Congress to support bipartisan legislation mandating full transparency.

The press conference centered on the “Epstein Files Transparency Act,” co-sponsored by Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) and Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA). The bill would compel the Department of Justice to release all classified Epstein-related records. According to Rep. Khanna, less than 1% of the files have been made public, despite ongoing demands for accountability.

The survivors criticized the House Oversight Committee’s recent release of over 33,000 pages of documents, claiming most of it was redundant or already public. Several spoke for the first time, including Lisa Phillips, who announced plans to compile a confidential list of high-profile individuals allegedly connected to Epstein’s operation.

Phillips shared, “Several of us Epstein survivors have been discussing creating our own list of names… We know the names. Many of us were abused by them. Now, together as survivors, we will confidentially compile the names we all know were regularly in the Epstein world, and it will be done by survivors and for survivors; no one else is involved.”

Support for the bill is growing among conservatives. Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene, Lauren Boebert, and Nancy Mace joined the event, expressing solidarity with the survivors. Rep. Greene pledged to publicly read Epstein’s “client list” on the House floor if it is provided. Only two more Republican votes are needed to force a floor vote through a discharge petition.

The survivors’ unified message was clear: accountability cannot wait. They called on Congress to stop protecting powerful figures and expose the full scope of Epstein’s trafficking network.

CBS Caught Editing Noem Interview After Pledging to Curb Bias for Merger Approval

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem accused CBS News of deceptive editing after key portions of her Face the Nation interview were cut—despite CBS’s recent pledge to address newsroom bias as part of its corporate merger with Skydance Media. The interview, focused on the arrest of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, was aired on September 1 with several minutes removed from the original conversation.

Noem’s edited remarks described Garcia as a “known human smuggler, MS-13 gang member,” and included references to domestic abuse and sexual assault. The Department of Homeland Security later confirmed that over 23 percent of her interview responses, amounting to nearly four minutes, were omitted from the broadcast version. CBS stated the edits were due to time constraints and released the full transcript and unedited video online.

The incident drew criticism from conservatives and media analysts, especially after CBS’s parent company, Paramount Global, had recently committed to ending DEI programming and correcting internal media bias. That pledge was part of the company’s deal with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to secure approval for its merger with Skydance Media. Skydance’s agreement included the installation of an ombudsman to ensure editorial fairness and to monitor political neutrality across CBS properties.

Noem called the editing a “whitewash” of facts related to Garcia’s criminal record. The segment in question was intended to highlight the administration’s border security policies and the role of transnational gangs like MS-13 in trafficking and violence across U.S. communities. CBS chose to air a shorter version without those comments.

The backlash places renewed scrutiny on CBS as it undergoes corporate restructuring under Skydance.

Noem’s office confirmed it would continue releasing full transcripts of major interviews to ensure transparency. The Department of Homeland Security also released a press statement detailing what had been excluded and reaffirmed the agency’s position on Garcia’s gang affiliations and immigration violations.

Trump Fights Back: Appeals Judge’s Block on California Troop Deployment

A federal judge ruled that President Trump’s deployment of the National Guard and U.S. Marines to Los Angeles violated long-standing federal law prohibiting the use of the military in domestic law enforcement. The decision, issued September 2 by U.S. District Judge Charles Breyer, declared the operation unlawful under the Posse Comitatus Act and imposed an injunction set to take effect on September 12.

The Trump administration had ordered the deployment of military personnel to Los Angeles in response to escalating crime and widespread property destruction. The operation was justified by the White House as necessary to restore order and protect federal assets. However, Judge Breyer ruled that the action overstepped constitutional and legal limits, stating that the military’s involvement in civil matters breached the foundational principle of civilian control over law enforcement.

Following the ruling, the administration immediately filed an appeal with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. The appeal argues that the military forces were not engaged in direct law enforcement, but rather served in a protective and supportive role focused on safeguarding federal facilities and assisting local authorities in a non-combative capacity.

Acting U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli criticized the ruling, calling it a mischaracterization of the mission’s purpose. Essayli explained, “They protect our federal employees (and) our properties so our federal agents can safely enforce federal laws in the face of the thugs being unleashed and encouraged by state and local politicians.”

The Posse Comitatus Act, enacted in 1878, restricts the federal government’s use of the military for domestic law enforcement without congressional approval. While exceptions exist under the Insurrection Act, Judge Breyer stated that the legal threshold for invoking such powers was not met in this case.

The State of California, led by Governor Gavin Newsom, has opposed federal intervention, arguing that the state did not request or approve the use of active-duty personnel within its borders. “Trump is breaking the law by ‘creating a national police force with the President as its chief.’ That’s exactly what we’ve been warning about for months,” Newsom stated.

With the injunction scheduled to take effect September 12, the outcome of the Ninth Circuit appeal may determine whether federal troops remain in Los Angeles or are withdrawn under court order.

Army Ends ‘Woke’ Promotion Boards, Hegseth Cheers Return to Standards

The U.S. Army has officially scrapped its controversial Command Assessment Program, which aimed to eliminate bias in leadership promotions through subjective assessments, psychological evaluations, and peer reviews. The program, designed during the last decade to promote “equity” in officer selection, is being discontinued due to low participation and questionable effectiveness.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth praised the move as a return to military readiness over ideology writing on X, “Promotions across [Department of Defense] will ONLY be based on merit & performance.”

The Command Assessment Program, which began in 2020, required officers to undergo behavioral testing, psychological screenings, and evaluations by peers to be considered for key command roles. It was marketed as a tool to reduce implicit bias and improve diversity in leadership. However, recent Army reviews showed the system discouraged capable officers from applying and added bureaucracy without measurable improvements in leadership quality.

Reports indicated that of the senior officers who qualified for leadership roles, over 50% never applied due to the CAP process.

The Army’s decision to cancel the program reflects growing backlash against DEI-driven reforms in the military. The program’s end follows broader Republican efforts to push back against politicization in the ranks, an issue that has drawn increasing concern from service members and veterans.

The Army will return to its previous assessment process: the Centralized Selection Board/List, (CSL). The CSL board assesses each candidate based on merit in performance in prior roles.

By eliminating the Command Assessment Program, the Army signals a shift back to clear standards and leadership development based on performance, not political fashion.

Trump Sounds Alarm: Putin, Xi, and Kim ‘Conspiring’ at Beijing Military Parade

President Trump accused Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping, and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un of “conspiring against the United States” during a high-profile military parade held September 3 in Beijing. The event, commemorating the 80th anniversary of Japan’s surrender in World War II, showcased China’s military power with its key authoritarian allies standing united on a global stage.

Trump made the accusation on Truth Social, calling out the trio’s display of unity as a clear threat to American national security. In a pointed message, Trump wrote: “Please give my warmest regards to Vladimir Putin, and Kim Jong Un, as you conspire against The United States of America.” He also criticized President Xi for failing to acknowledge the United States’ role in helping China defeat Imperial Japan.

The Beijing parade included ballistic missile demonstrations, armored divisions, and elite troops marching under banners of military supremacy. State media described the event as a “show of solidarity” among America’s adversaries, while Western observers noted the presence of all three authoritarian leaders as a pointed signal against U.S. influence in the Indo-Pacific.

The Kremlin dismissed Trump’s remarks, calling them “ironic” and stating there was no coordinated plot against the United States. Despite the denial, Trump’s warning reignites concerns about the growing military and diplomatic alignment between Russia, China, and North Korea—all three facing heavy sanctions and increasing hostility toward the West.

Trump’s message reflects escalating concerns over China’s expanding military ambitions and deepening partnerships with regimes hostile to U.S. interests. The Beijing parade, framed by Communist symbolism and anti-Western messaging, further confirmed the tightening alliance between the world’s most aggressive authoritarian states.

VP Vance Honors Victims of Catholic Church Shooting in Minneapolis

Vice President JD Vance and Second Lady Usha Vance traveled to Minneapolis on September 3 to meet with the families and survivors of the tragic shooting at Annunciation Catholic Church. The visit followed the deadly August 27 attack, where a gunman opened fire during a school Mass, killing two young children and injuring 21 others.

The gunman, identified as 23-year-old Robert Westman, entered Annunciation Catholic School during a morning liturgy service and began shooting indiscriminately. The victims included children, staff, and parishioners. Two children, ages 8 and 10, were killed instantly. Seventeen of the injured remain hospitalized, with several in critical condition.

The Vances met privately with grieving families inside the parish rectory and spent over an hour in quiet conversation with school staff and first responders. No media were present during the meetings. Outside the church, they laid flowers at a growing memorial of candles, photos, and handwritten notes. A moment of silence was observed.

Archbishop Bernard Hebda of the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis commented on the Vice President meeting with the families of the tragic shooting, saying, “For them to have the opportunity to share, up close, with the vice president and his wife, as they’ve done with our governor and our senator and our mayor, I think is a great opportunity to educate about what occurred and then to begin planning for how we can move forward.”

Annunciation Catholic Church, a fixture in south Minneapolis since 1922, has reopened for Mass and community support services. Catholic Charities and the local diocese are providing trauma counseling and financial aid to victims’ families.

Jeanine Pirro: China’s ‘Undeclared War Against America’

Federal authorities have intercepted 1,300 barrels of methamphetamine precursor chemicals shipped from China and bound for Mexico’s Sinaloa Cartel. This record-breaking seizure, coordinated through a multi-agency operation, stopped the production of an estimated 420,000 pounds of methamphetamine valued at over $569 million on the street.

Officials confirmed the shipment contained 360,000 pounds of benzyl alcohol and 334,000 pounds of N‑methylformamide, both classified as key precursors for meth production. The chemicals originated in Shanghai and were en route to Mexico before being diverted to the Port of Houston, where they were secured and seized. The volume of chemicals required over two dozen 18-wheelers for transport to secure federal storage.

The Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the FBI, DEA, Department of Defense’s Joint Interagency Task Force, U.S. Northern Command, and the Texas National Guard all played roles in the operation. According to officials, this is the largest known seizure of meth precursor chemicals tied directly to a designated foreign terrorist organization.

The Sinaloa Cartel’s designation as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) allowed prosecutors to act swiftly. U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro stated that terrorism-related forfeiture powers enabled federal agencies to disrupt the cartel’s supply chain before the chemicals reached production labs in Mexico.

“Tons of chemicals that are used to create synthetic drugs like methamphetamine and fentanyl are shipped from China to Mexico in China’s undeclared war against America,” Pirro stated.

ICE Acting Director Todd Lyons emphasized that targeting the chemical sources before methamphetamine is manufactured is more effective than reacting after the drugs enter the U.S. market. Lyons shared, “Had these precursors made it to the destination, they would have made hundreds of thousands of pounds of methamphetamine, with profits of over half a billion dollars, which would lead to more American deaths here, not only in Houston, but all across the country.”

This seizure follows earlier actions taken in 2025, including the interception of 50,000 kilograms of di-cumyl peroxide, another chemical used in meth production. Intelligence reports continue to show that Chinese chemical manufacturers are key suppliers to Mexican drug cartels, which now produce over 90% of meth consumed in the United States. Mexico’s ports, especially Manzanillo, are often the entry points for these dual-use chemicals.

The Sinaloa Cartel remains one of the world’s most powerful drug trafficking networks, responsible for large-scale production and distribution of methamphetamine, fentanyl, heroin, and cocaine. Despite arrests and internal leadership changes, its global reach continues, fueled by international chemical smuggling operations.

The America250 organization will create the world’s largest American Flag for the nation’s 250th birthday on July 4, 2026.

Fox News spoke to those organizing America250, confirming that the flag is expected to be 776 feet wide, 1,492 feet long, and taller than the Empire State Building. The flag’s unveiling is in talks to be held at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland, a NASCAR speedway, or a location in Lebanon, Kansas, as the location serves as the geographic center of the nation.

“Everything President Trump does is historic and larger than life,” America250 Executive Director Ari Abergel told the outlet. “America250 will be no different, and we’re kicking things off by breaking a massive world record — creating the world’s largest American flag.”

“The flag will be made in America, and unfurled by hundreds of patriots in an extraordinary moment of national unity as part of America250,” Abergel added.

President Trump established Task Force 250 in January. “It is the policy of the United States, and a purpose of this order, to provide a grand celebration worthy of the momentous occasion of the 250th anniversary of American Independence on July 4, 2026,” Trump’s order read. “It is also the purpose of this order to take other actions to honor the history of our great Nation.”

According to the America250 website, Task Force 250 “invites citizens to have a renewed love of American history, experience the beauty of our country, and ignite a spirit of adventure and innovation that will raise our nation to new heights over the next 250 years.”
