Nicolle Wallace Arson Claim Sparks Outrage After False Report

MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace is facing backlash after suggesting a pro-Trump arsonist may have set fire to a South Carolina judge’s home—despite officials confirming there was “no evidence to indicate the fire was intentionally set.” The Nicolle Wallace arson claim aired just hours after law enforcement publicly ruled out foul play.

“And with little details known at this time, law enforcement has been asked to provide extra security after the incident,” Wallace said, linking the fire to supposed “criticism directly from the Trump administration.” She added that Judge Diane Goodstein “reportedly faced death threats after a high-profile ruling against the Trump administration.”

Wallace then invited former Biden administration official Mary McCord, who advanced the unfounded theory, saying, “It’s looking like arson.” McCord speculated further: “If it turns out that this was motivated because of a judicial ruling that went against the Trump administration, this will be another escalation… in what we’re seeing when it comes to political violence.”

Wallace offered no correction or clarification, even though State Law Enforcement Division chief Mark Keel had already announced, “There is no evidence to indicate the fire was intentionally set.”

The Saturday blaze destroyed Goodstein’s Edisto Island home and injured three residents. The judge had recently blocked the South Carolina Election Commission from sharing voter data with the U.S. Department of Justice.

The episode adds to a growing pattern of MSNBC personalities advancing unverified claims against conservatives before facts emerge—echoing previous false narratives surrounding alleged right-wing violence.

Florida Man Arrested for Palisades Fire

A 29-year-old Florida man has been arrested for starting the Palisades Fire.

Uber driver Jonathan Rinderknecht has been charged with destruction of property with fire.

According to the Department of Justice, “witness statements, video surveillance, cellphone data, and analysis of fire dynamics and patterns at the scene, among other things,” determined that Rinderknecht “maliciously set the Lachman Fire just after midnight on January 1 on land owned by the Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority (MRCA), an organization that received federal funding.”

The same fire, then called the Palisades Fire, burned federal property.

Rinderknecht dropped off a passenger in the area, drove toward Skull Rock Trailhead, parked his car, and walked up the trail after attempting to contact a friend.

“During an interview with law enforcement on January 24, 2025, Rinderknecht lied about where he was when he first saw the Lachman Fire,” the DOJ explained. “He claimed he was near the bottom of a hiking trail when he first saw the fire and called 911, but geolocation data from his iPhone carrier showed that he was standing in a clearing 30 feet from the fire as it rapidly grew.”

Acting US Attorney Bill Essayli announced on X that among the evidence collected from the suspect’s devices was “an image he generated on ChatGPT depicting a burning city.”

“While we cannot undo the damage and destruction that was done, we hope his arrest and the charges against him bring some measure of justice to the victims of this horrific tragedy,” Essayli wrote.

Governor Gavin Newsom (D-CA) previously announced a $101 million fund to rebuild fire-devastated areas of Los Angeles. The fund is specifically intended for the “development of affordable multifamily rental housing.”

“Los Angeles has taken significant steps to rebuild after January’s fires, but the devastation is significant and there remains a long road ahead,” Newsom said in a statement in July. “Thousands of families – from Pacific Palisades to Altadena to Malibu – are still displaced and we owe it to them to help. The funding we’re announcing today will accelerate the development of affordable multifamily rental housing so that those rebuilding their lives after this tragedy have access to a safe, affordable place to come home to.”

New Footage Exposes Gazan Civilians Joining Hamas in Committing Oct 7 Atrocities

Newly released Hamas footage from Oct. 7, 2023, shows terrorists and Gazan civilians kidnapping Israeli women and children from Kibbutz Be’eri, a community just two miles from the Gaza border. The footage highlights the coordinated brutality that killed more than 1,200 Israelis two years ago and reignites debate over Hamas’s ongoing threat to the Jewish state.

The videos, shared by Foundation for Defense of Democracies analyst Joe Truzman, depict armed Hamas militants and civilians herding women and children at gunpoint. In one clip, a Hamas commander kisses a child’s head as captives are led away. In another, a Palestinian man in civilian clothing binds a woman’s wrists before she is murdered. “In Hamas’s distorted worldview, the atrocities of October 7 are not a moral abomination but a triumph to be emulated,” Truzman told the Washington Free Beacon.

A former Israeli defense official said, “Middle-aged women massacred in cold blood. Kids kidnapped from their beds in their soccer kits and PJs. Palestinian civilians watching on and celebrating—and in some cases taking part. It’s sick.”

The footage underscores the atrocities that sparked Israel’s ongoing campaign to dismantle Hamas. As President Donald Trump’s 20-point peace plan continues to be negotiated, Hamas faces growing international pressure to disarm and release the remaining 48 hostages.

Senators Joni Ernst (R-IA) and John Fetterman (D-PA) introduced a bipartisan resolution marking the two-year anniversary, condemning Hamas’s “use of rape as a weapon of war” and reaffirming Israel’s right to exist.

NYC’s Deadly TikTok Craze: 12-Year-Old’s ‘Subway Surfing Tragedy’ Exposes Social Media’s Dark Grip

TikTok Website on Screen via American Faith

The heartbreaking subway surfing tragedy that claimed the life of 12-year-old Brooklyn girl Zemfira Mukhtarov is shedding light on the dangerous social media culture that glorifies risk over reason. Zemfira, described as a thrill-seeker by her mother, had posted chilling TikTok videos in the weeks leading up to her death — including one where she lay on train tracks as a subway roared overhead.

“I always working, and I don’t know what she’s doing, what time she’s doing,” said her grieving mother, Nataliya Rudenko, a Ukrainian immigrant who moved to the U.S. in 2008. Rudenko recalled how her daughter became “obsessed with pulling off the social media stunts” despite warnings to stop.

The pre-teen reportedly snuck out around 3 a.m. Saturday before she and her 13-year-old friend, Ebba Morina, were found unconscious near the Williamsburg station — both later pronounced dead. “One time I see she is on the top of the Williamsburg Bridge, [pretending to] hold our city on her hand,” Rudenko said.

Zemfira’s tragic death is a painful reminder of how the digital world has outpaced parental control and common sense. Platforms like TikTok have become breeding grounds for viral stunts that prey on youthful curiosity and recklessness — with deadly consequences.

As Rudenko put it through tears, “She’s not a kid [who] sits in her room, and I cannot close this room and take a key and just, you know, [make her] stop doing this thing.” Her words are a mother’s warning — and America’s wake-up call — about the high price of online fame.

FBI Raids Mexican Mafia-Linked Southern California Gang

The FBI announced that it, alongside the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), raided a Mexican Mafia-linked gang in Southern California. More than a dozen people were arrested in connection to the activity.

The gang, known as “Rancho San Pedro” (RSP), is known to engage in “various criminal activities and acts of violence in and around the Los Angeles Harbor area,” the FBI explained. RSP is a “multi-generational gang with a current estimated membership of approximately 500 individuals who are divided into approximately six subsets or ‘cliques,’ including two female cliques,” the statement added.

The gang originated in the 1970s and operates under Mexican Mafia members who are in California state prisons. RSP members pay “taxes” to the mafia in return for their protection. Those who violate rules receive “discipline” by assault.

“These arrests prove the power of partnerships,” Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan J. Hochman said in a statement. “When law enforcement agencies collaborate, we are able to take violent offenders and illegal weapons off our streets. These arrests demonstrate our commitment to restoring safety and trust in every community, especially those that have suffered the most from gang violence. Working with our federal and local partners, we have sent an unequivocally clear warning to violent street gangs—the chance of getting caught and the dire prison consequences for your actions have gone way up. Continue at your own peril.”

Earlier this year, the Vice Mayor of Cudahy, California, called for gangs to organize violence against ICE agents.

Vice Mayor Cynthia Gonzalez said in a video that she wants to know where the “cholos” are in Los Angeles, using a slang term for young Hispanic men involved in gang activities. She went on to list gangs present in the area, such as 18th Street Florencia.

Shocking Staten Island Murder Exposed Long-Standing Community Concerns

Campbell Jensen/Unsplash

A shocking murder inside a Staten Island home has exposed years of ignored warnings and failed interventions, as police sources reveal officers were repeatedly called to the same residence on domestic violence reports long before the gruesome killing.

Authorities say 19-year-old Damien Hurstel allegedly decapitated his mother’s boyfriend, 45-year-old sanitation worker Anthony Casalaspro, following a violent altercation inside their West Brighton home. But what’s emerging now paints a picture of systemic neglect — one that neighbors say was a tragedy waiting to happen.

Casalaspro had been listed as the alleged perpetrator in at least five domestic violence-related 911 calls since 2021, according to sources. In one 2023 incident, he allegedly attacked Hurstel and slapped the teen’s mother after officers told him to leave earlier that same day. “She was screaming,” one neighbor recalled. “Her leg was bent the wrong way. I said, ‘Do you want me to call 911?’ (The boyfriend) said, ‘No, you’re fine, you’re fine.’”

The victim, a city employee on disability due to severe vision loss, also had a criminal record dating back to 2000, including drug, assault, and reckless driving charges. Police were even warned in 2021 that he might have had a handgun — though none was found.

For many New Yorkers, the case raises troubling questions about why domestic violence calls too often end in tragedy. A system that sends officers to the same door over and over without real action is one that’s failing both victims and communities.
