Doctor’s Crimes Expose After Hidden Camera Discovery Leads to Prison Murder Plot

A shocking case of deception and abuse has emerged from Pennsylvania, where a doctor’s crimes shattered the image of a respected family man and exposed the darkness that can hide behind professional prestige.

Stacey Rutherford believed she had found “a gold mine” when she married local physician Justin Rutherford. But in 2021, her world fell apart after a hidden camera was discovered inside the family bathroom — secretly installed by her husband. Police say the device recorded thousands of intimate images of family members and guests, leading to the exposure of years of sexual abuse.

“Initially, I didn’t think there was any courage there in my speaking out,” said Rutherford’s son, Tyler VanScyoc, who revealed he had been abused since age 11. “I felt like I had to.”

The investigation revealed a sinister double life: Justin fled to Europe, was arrested upon return, and later attempted to orchestrate his stepson’s murder from prison. “I was completely devastated,” Stacey said. “It changed all of our lives. It made me realize just how ugly this world is.”

In 2023, Justin Rutherford was sentenced to up to 70 years in prison, plus additional time for the murder-for-hire scheme. Stacey now urges parents to stay vigilant: “It’s not only creepy weirdos who molest kids. This stuff goes on inside good homes. It can happen anywhere.” The doctor’s double life serves as a chilling reminder that evil often hides in plain sight — and that vigilance remains every parent’s strongest defense.

Mamdani’s Campaign Tied to Foreign Funds

New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani has received nearly $13,000 of donates from foreign entities.

According to an exclusive report from the New York Post, at least 170 of the nearly 54,000 contributions to Mamdani’s campaign came from addresses located outside of the United States. The discovery may be a violation of campaign finance laws, as only U.S. citizens may contribute to political campaigns.

Mamdani’s campaign has yet to return $7,190 of foreign contributions, or 88 donations. The campaign has also brought in $4 million in private donations, $12.7 million in public matching funds, and has nearly $6.1 million on hand. His campaign said in a statement that it “will of course return any donations that are not in compliance with CFB law.”

Republican mayoral candidate Curtis Sliwa told the outlet, “Where there’s smoke, there’s fire, so I would be very concerned.” He added, “There is probably a lot more in terms of foreign money.”

“It’s very problematic, not just for Zohran Mamdani, but anybody who has these kinds of PACs, because it’s a license to illegally funnel money,” Sliwa explained. “And foreign countries know you don’t have to go to war against America. All you gotta do is manipulate the election.”

Among other policy efforts, Mamdani vowed to increase funding for deportation defense by more than $100 million dollars.

Under his plan titled “Trump-Proofing NYC,” a Mamdani administration would “increase funding for immigration legal services to provide representation for people and communities targeted by mass deportation.”

“The Mamdani administration will take seriously the threat Trump poses and will think expansively about ways to protect undocumented New Yorkers from deportation or other federal attacks,” the proposal says.

Lost Royal Palace Unearthed in Polish River After Centuries Hidden by War

Archaeologists in Poland have rediscovered the remnants of a lost royal palace long believed to have vanished during one of Europe’s bloodiest invasions, offering a rare glimpse into the nation’s turbulent 17th-century past.

The Museum of Polish History announced that the discovery was made in Warsaw’s Vistula River and connected to the royal residence known as Villa Regia — once “one of the most magnificent palaces of 17th-century Europe.” The structure was destroyed during the Swedish Deluge, a brutal invasion from 1655 to 1660 that devastated the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and wiped out nearly a quarter of its population.

In 1656, Swedish troops looted the palace and attempted to flee with valuables, but their ship sank in the Vistula before leaving Warsaw. “Architectural elements, from marble claddings and tiles to fragments of monumental staircases, were carried off and some were sunk in the Vistula,” the museum said.

Among the artifacts retrieved was a 440-pound fragment of an arcade arch and a pillar capital “previously unknown in the context of finds from this site.” All artifacts have been secured and transferred to the Museum of Polish History for conservation and study.

“With this monumental structure, we will tell the story of the power and wealth of the old Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, and, by referring to the Swedish Deluge, about the crisis of the state,” said Krzysztof Niewiadomski, the museum’s deputy director of programs.

Officials say the find not only illuminates Poland’s royal legacy but also underscores the resilience of a nation that continues to uncover—and preserve—the glories buried by centuries of conflict.

Hillary Clinton Honors Trump’s Peace Deal

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton commended President Trump’s peace agreement with Hamas and Israel.

“I really commend President Trump and his administration, as well as Arab leaders in the region for making the commitment to the 20-point plan and seeing a path forward for what’s often called the day after,” Clinton told CBS News 24/7‘s Norah O’Donnell.

“Let’s now support this process and bring it together, not just in a nonpartisan way in our own country, but literally internationally as a great global commitment to try to bring peace, security, stability and a better future to the Middle East,” Clinton added.

Clinton has also said she would nominate President Trump for a Nobel Peace Prize if he ends the war in Ukraine. “If President Trump were the architect of that, I’d nominate him for a Nobel Peace Prize,” she stated.

According to Trump’s plan to end the conflict in Gaza, the agreement’s Board of Peace sets the “framework and handle[s] the funding for the redevelopment of Gaza until such time as the Palestinian Authority has completed its reform program, as outlined in various proposals, including President Trump’s peace plan in 2020 and the Saudi-French proposal, and can securely and effectively take back control of Gaza. This body will call on best international standards to create modern and efficient governance that serves the people of Gaza and is conducive to attracting investment.”

“No one will be forced to leave Gaza, and those who wish to leave will be free to do so and free to return,” the plan states. “We will encourage people to stay and offer them the opportunity to build a better Gaza.”

Radical Socialist’s Potential Challenge of Jeffries Rattles New York Democrats

A potential challenge to House Democratic leader Hakeem Jeffries is rattling New York’s Democratic establishment and exposing deep divisions within the party. According to Axios, New York City councilman Chi Ossé, a close ally of socialist mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, has privately discussed launching a primary campaign against Jeffries.

“Ossé, who backed Mamdani in the mayoral primary and headlined a rally and canvass efforts for him, has spoken privately with progressive groups about potentially taking on Jeffries in the Democratic primary next year,” Axios reported, citing three sources familiar with the talks. The outlet added that such a move “could drive a further wedge” between Jeffries and Mamdani, who has refused to temper his socialist message even as the election nears.

The report noted that “any effort by Ossé to unseat Jeffries—one of the most powerful Democrats in the nation—likely would deepen the divide within the Democratic Party over age and ideology.” That divide has already widened after Mamdani’s recent primary win, which left some Democrats in “absolute panic and fear” about facing challenges from his allies.

Ossé denied plans to run, texting Axios: “It would take a very dire situation in order for me to even consider spending the rest of my 20s in dc.” He later clarified, “Just to be clear, I’m not running for Congress.”

Jeffries’s team reportedly “issued a smashmouth warning to his would-be opponents,” vowing to “target democratic socialists in the state legislature if they go after his congressional seat.”

Indian Student Detained in Ukraine After Being Forced to Fight for Russia, Family Says

An Indian student detained by Ukrainian troops has become the first known national from India captured in the ongoing war, after allegedly being coerced into fighting for Russia to avoid a lengthy prison sentence.

According to BBC News, 22-year-old Sahil Majothi from Gujarat was captured by Ukraine’s 63rd Mechanized Brigade, which released a video showing him claiming he joined the Russian army in exchange for freedom. “The police caught him with it and charged him,” his mother, Hasina Majothi, said, explaining that her son had been framed in a drug case while working as a courier in Moscow.

Majothi moved to Russia in early 2024 to study and was sentenced to seven years in prison that April after drugs were allegedly planted in his delivery package. His mother said the family lost contact after his arrest until the viral video surfaced this week. “I don’t know how he ended up in Ukraine. I only found out through the viral video,” she told the outlet.

In the clip, Majothi claimed he was promised between 100,000 and over a million roubles for joining the Russian army but never received any pay. After just 15 days of basic training, he was sent to the front lines — and within a day, he reportedly deserted his unit and surrendered to Ukrainian forces.

His family in India has since been questioned by Gujarat’s Anti-Terrorism Squad, as Indian officials confirm details of his detention. Community leaders say Majothi’s case reflects a troubling trend. “Many young men like him have been trapped and dragged into the war,” said Kasam Sumra.

Trump Celebrates ‘Historic Dawn of New Middle East’

President Donald Trump declared before the Knesset that the beginnings of a ceasefire between Hamas and Israel marks a “historic dawn of a new Middle East.”

“We gather on a day of profound joy, of soaring hope, of renewed faith, and above all, a day to give our deepest thanks to the Almighty God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob,” Trump said. “And after so many years of unceasing war and endless danger, today the skies are calm, the guns are silent, the sirens are still. And the sun rises on a holy land that is finally at peace.”

“A land and a region that will live, God willing, in peace for all eternity. This is not only the end of a war, this is the end of an age of terror and death, and the beginning of the age of faith and hope and of God,” he declared. “It’s the start of a grand concord and lasting harmony for Israel and all the nations of what will soon be a truly magnificent region. I believe that so strongly. This is the historic dawn of a new Middle East.”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu thanked Trump in his remarks: “Thank you for standing up against the lies against Israel at the United Nations. Thank you for recognizing in your 2020 peace plan our rights in Judea and Samaria, the ancestral homeland of the Jewish people. Thank you for brokering the historic Abraham Accords. Thank you for withdrawing from the disasterous Iran nuclear deal. Thank you for supporting Operation Rising Lion and for your bold decision to launch Operation Midnight Hammer.”

“Donald Trump is the greatest friend that the State of Israel has ever had in the White House,” Netanyahu declared.

Israel celebrated a historic victory early Monday as 20 hostages returned home under President Trump’s peace plan. The hostages—freed after more than two years in Hamas captivity—were reunited with their families across Israel.

New York Child Shooting Leaves a 11-Year-Old Boy Dead and a 13-Year-Old in Custody

A shocking New York child shooting has left one young boy dead and another charged with murder, underscoring the growing concerns about youth violence and access to firearms.

Police in Newburgh, about 60 miles north of New York City, arrested a 13-year-old boy for second-degree murder in connection with the fatal shooting of an 11-year-old inside a home on North Miller Street. Officers responded around 8 a.m. Thursday and discovered the victim dead from a gunshot wound, according to the Newburgh Police Department.

Authorities quickly launched an investigation involving the City of Newburgh Detective Division and the Non-Fatal Shooting Task Force. A firearm was recovered at the scene, and within 12 hours, the 13-year-old suspect — who was not related to the victim — was taken into custody.

FOX 5 New York reported that the 11-year-old was shot in the head while children were playing with a firearm.

“The loss of one young life and the arrest of another is an unimaginable tragedy, one that deeply affects our entire school community,” said Dr. J. Manning Campbell, superintendent of the Newburgh Enlarged City School District. “Two children, full of potential, now represent devastating losses in different ways.”

Campbell added that grief counseling and support services are being made available to students and staff. “Please do not hesitate to reach out. No one should carry this pain alone,” he said.

The tragedy has reignited debate over juvenile crime and gun safety — an increasingly urgent issue in communities across America.

Texas Child Trafficking Crackdown Rescues 30 Children, Exposes Nationwide Crisis

A major federal and local operation has rescued more than 30 missing children trapped within a Texas child trafficking network and exposed what experts warn is a growing national crisis.

The joint mission, known as Operation Lightning Bug, centered in San Antonio, united teams from the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS) and the San Antonio Police Department to locate at-risk juveniles and dismantle trafficking operations. Authorities reported three arrests for harboring runaways, nine felony warrants executed, and six sex trafficking survivors rescued. In total, more than 30 missing juveniles were located and 120 others voluntarily returned home.

“The safety of our children is the safety of our communities, and justice demands that we protect those who cannot protect themselves,” said U.S. Marshal Susan Pamerleau. San Antonio Police Chief William McManus praised the mission’s success, saying, “Every suspect arrested, juvenile returned home and survivor taken out of harm’s way matters.”

The crackdown, conducted under the Justice for Victims of Trafficking Act of 2015, reflects an intensified effort to combat the exploitation of minors. Experts say the threat is evolving rapidly — often online. “As technology advances, traffickers…are early adopters and adapters of technology,” warned Kirsta Leeberg-Melton, founder of the Institute to Combat Trafficking.

Leeberg-Melton emphasized that this problem is not confined to the border. “American citizens can traffic American citizens on American soil,” she said, dispelling the myth that trafficking only affects foreign victims.

Triumphant Hostage Return Marks First Stage of Trump’s Gaza Peace Plan

Israel celebrated a historic victory early Monday as 20 hostages returned home under President Donald Trump’s Gaza peace plan, marking the first phase of his landmark ceasefire agreement. The hostages—freed after more than two years in Hamas captivity—were reunited with their families in scenes of jubilation across Israel.

Video showed several hostages speaking with relatives before being handed to the Israel Defense Forces. The first group of seven was released around 2 a.m. Eastern Time, followed by the remaining 13 two hours later. Upon arrival, the freed hostages received “welcome kits” with personal notes from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, along with phones, tablets, and computers.

As the release unfolded, Trump landed in Tel Aviv to a hero’s welcome. The Ben Gurion Airport control tower greeted him with: “Welcome to the state of Israel, Mr. President. Your visit carries deep meaning for our people in these times.” A massive beachside banner in Tel Aviv read, “THANK YOU.”

Addressing the Knesset, Trump praised Israel’s resilience, saying, “It should now be clear to everyone… that decades of fomenting terrorism and extremism… have backfired completely and totally.” He declared, “Now, it is time to translate these victories… into the ultimate prize of peace and prosperity for the entire Middle East.”

Netanyahu called the moment “an evening of tears, an evening of joy,” and said, “Tomorrow is the beginning of a new path—a path of rebuilding, a path of healing.”

Trump will next attend a summit in Egypt to finalize later stages of the Gaza peace plan, including Hamas’s disarmament and the war’s official end.
