Federal data released on October 21 revealed that over 3.5 million migrants crossed the southern border during fiscal year 2023.
During fiscal year 2022, 3.67 Americans were born, including 400,000 births to illegal immigrants.
According to Breitbart, the number of migrants results in economic competition for the 3 million Americans who graduate high school.
An estimated 1 million legal immigrants and another million visa workers stay for months or years, The Post Millennial described.
Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas admitted that “our legal immigration system is not designed to meet the needs of employers here in the United States.”
“We have employers who are striving to hire, to find people who could fill jobs to contribute to our country’s economic prosperity,” he said to the Senate Judiciary Committee. “Regrettably, regrettably, our legal immigration system is not designed to meet that need of employers here in the United States.”
In the first two weeks of fiscal year 2024, there were more than 18,000 migrant “gotaways” at the southern border.
“Over 18K known gotaways in the first 16 days of FY24. These are individuals whose identities & purpose we do not know. That is why you need every Border Patrol agent to be in the field and on patrol,” U.S. Border Patrol Chief Jason Owens said.
