‘Nonbinary’ Former Biden Admin Nuclear Official Arrested Again for Luggage Theft

Sam Brinton, a former nuclear official in the Biden administration and activist who identifies as “nonbinary,” was apprehended by the police in Rockville, Maryland on Wednesday night.

Branded a “fugitive from justice,” Brinton stands accused of multiple instances of luggage theft, according to a report from The Daily Wire.

A nearby resident relayed to The Daily Wire that “four unmarked police showed up last night, they would not let his spouse Kevin leave” and that “[a]fter about an hour Sam Brinton was escorted out in handcuffs.”

The arrest was made by the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) and the Montgomery County Police.

MWAA spokesperson Rob Yingling shared that a search warrant was “executed a search warrant May 17 in Montgomery County, Maryland, in connection with allegations of stolen property in luggage from Reagan National Airport that was brought to the department’s attention in February 2023.”

Yingling went on to confirm that, with the cooperation of local police, Samuel Otis Brinton, aged 35, was detained and could potentially face charges of Grand Larceny.

In a statement by Montgomery County police representative Sheira Goff, she confirmed that Brinton “was arrested at approximately 10 p.m. last night in their home.”

Brinton had his first court appearance on Thursday afternoon via closed-circuit television from the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit.

Previously, Brinton has faced arrest multiple times on suspicion of pilfering women’s clothing.

Last year, Brinton faced charges for allegedly stealing a suitcase from a woman at the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport.

As per a criminal complaint, Brinton was accused of swiftly removing a luggage tag from a navy blue Vera Bradley suitcase, depositing it into his handbag, and then promptly leaving the scene on September 16, 2022, The Daily Wire notes.

The nonbinary activist believes himself to be neither male nor female.
