New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy (D) doesn’t mind the slaughter of innocent unborn babies one bit and his signing of a new pro-abortion law makes that all the more clear.
In recent days the governor made it clear that he would sign into law a new bill which will “codify” abortion in the state, will allow for abortion up to birth and even allow medical professionals who aren’t doctors to provide the grisly-child killing procedure.
On Thursday, January 13 Murphy signed that bill.
Pro-life outlet Live Action reported on this latest assault on the lives of unborn babies in American, writing that “on January 10, the last voting session in the term, members of both the Assembly and the Senate approved the Freedom of Reproductive Choice Act, and Governor Phil Murphy has indicated his intent to sign it into law.”
Of course the libs at NPR described the pending bill as protecting “the fundamental right of reproductive autonomy, which includes the right to contraception, the right to terminate a pregnancy, and the right to carry a pregnancy to term.” Mmmhmm, it’s all about protecting through killing. Makes perfect sense.
Live Action, though, stated that the bill “effectively codifies” a right to abortion in the states law that will continue to ensure that abortion is convenient and accessible for women, even if SCOTUS were to overturn Roe v. Wade.
Earlier in the week the governor tweeted, “I will sign this bill into law this week. With Roe v. Wade under attack, the need for this bill is more urgent than ever.”
And on January 14, the governor tweeted images of himself signing the horrific legislation. Along with the post Murphy wrote, “Today, I signed historic legislation to protect reproductive freedom in New Jersey – codifying the right to choose into state law and expanding contraception coverage.
But again, this isn’t just letting some abortions happen in an emergency, the actual contents of the bill reveal that is it is a radical new law that will make abortions so convenient a medical doctor doesn’t even have to perform them.
On its website, pro-life activism group New Jersey Right to Life wrote, “Contrary to its name, this Act is not a codification of abortion but a robust expansion of abortion. There are many unintended consequences with this bill and it is written so poorly that it is open to interpretation.”
One of these expansions includes abortion up to birth. The pro-life group mentioned that the law includes no talk of gestational limits to the procedure. “Because of the broad wording in this bill and the fact that there are no gestational limits anywhere in the bill, this new statute will allow abortions at any point in pregnancy.”
In addition to that horrific facet, the new law allows “qualified health care professionals” to commit abortions. Live Action clarified that that provision combined with recently-enacted state regulations, allow “non-physicians, like midwives and physician’s assistants, to commit abortions.”
Pray for New Jersey because plenty of unborn babies are going to be in more danger.
