New Presidential Envoy Revealed

Nick Adams will serve as the special presidential envoy for “American tourism, exceptionalism, and values.”

“Mr. President, it is the honor of a lifetime to serve as your special presidential envoy for American tourism, exceptionalism and values,” Adams declared in a video that he posted on social media.

“The United States is a nation that, since its inception, was destined for greatness. And the story of American greatness is the most captivating, exciting and inspiring in the history of the world. Now the greatest president we have ever seen has bestowed upon me the duty to tell this story near and far, to reignite a love for America at home, and relight the sacred beacon atop the shining city on a hill for the entire world to see,” he said, adding that it his job to “never let a day go by without reminding the world that the United States is more than even the sum of our achievements.”

Adams’ role will “play a vital role in revitalizing America’s diplomatic position as a beacon of free speech, the freedom to worship, and a land of unlimited opportunity for those who align with the traditions and values of the United States of America,” a separate statement reads.

Adams, a naturalized U.S. citizen from Australia, was previously tapped to serve as the ambassador to Malaysia, although the nomination did not make a Senate vote.

A State Department certificate of competency on Adams describes him as having been recognized by governors across the nation for his “work promoting American exceptionalism.”
