New Jersey Mayor Confirms District Ballots Missing

Robbinsville, New Jersey has lost over 10% of its ballots.

QUICK FACTS:
  • Mayor Dave Fried of Robbinsville, New Jersey announced Wednesday that about 11 percent of the ballots from his city were missing.
  • City officials discovered around 5 p.m. on the 9th that “the ballots of one of our districts had gone missing.”
  • The mayor said they are working with the affected county election officials to find out what caused the loss of ballots and recover the lost votes.
  • “The fundamentals of Democracy is that every vote would be counted. Clearly, this has yet to happen in Robbinsville, as approximately 11 percent of our residents’ votes have yet to be safely delivered and counted,” Fried said.
  • The uncounted votes could have an impact on the local Robbinsville school board election, where Peter Oehlberg and Christopher Emigholz are separated by 103 votes.
  • According to data from The Associated Press, the “mishap” is unlikely to have an impact in any races for federal offices where candidates are ahead by thousands of votes with 95 percent of the ballots counted.
STATEMENT FROM THE MAYOR:
  • “Robbinsville Township was contacted by Mercer County Election officials at approximately 5 p.m. today and were informed that the ballots of one of our districts had gone missing,” the mayor said in a statement on his town’s website.
  • “We’re working with the County, which is in charge of our elections, but please know we will not rest until we get to the bottom of this unconscionable mishap, and we will not consider the 2022 election over in Robbinsville until every single ballot is counted and done so securely.”
BACKGROUND:
  • Midterm races have been fraught with turmoil, as “illegal electioneering” was discovered by Project Veritas.
  • Several instances were discovered at a voting center in Philadelphia where the team was told who to vote for just outside the entrance of the center with posters for Democrats Fetterman and Shapiro near the voting machines.
  • As American Faith previously reported, one committeeman told the covert reporter that they “just help out whoever the majority of the community supports.”
