NCAA Player Caitlin Clark Breaks Scoring Record

Female college basketball player Caitlin Clark passed “Pistol Pete” Maravich over the weekend to break the NCAA’s all-time scoring record for the first time in more than half a century.

The 22-year-old senior got to more than the 3,667 point record set by Maravich in 1970 after making a set of free throws.

The history-making shots happened when Clark’s team, Iowa, played its final regular home season game this season against Ohio State.

Clark is a guard for the Hawkeyes in her fourth season.
