NASCAR Driver to Complete Sensitivity Training After Posting ‘Family Guy’ Clip Stereotyping Asian Drivers

NASCAR driver Denny Hamlin required to take sensitivity training after posting a “Family Guy” clip on Twitter.

TOYOTA ON NASCAR’S DECISION:

“We have spoken with Denny Hamlin regarding his tweet from yesterday,” THE AUTOMAKER said. “Toyota supports NASCAR’s decision to mandate sensitivity training for Denny and we will all move forward together.” 

BACKGROUND:
  • The tweet comes after Larson caused a last-lap crash in the Geico 500, ruining the race for Bubba Wallace and Kurt Busch.
  • Hamlin and Larson are close friends off the track, and Larson has not commented on the incident.
