Musk Calls for New Reform Party Leader

Elon Musk has called for Reform U.K. Party leader Nigel Farage to be replaced.

“The Reform Party needs a new leader. Farage doesn’t have what it takes,” Musk wrote on social media.

Farge responded to the statement, saying, “Well, this is a surprise! Elon is a remarkable individual but on this I am afraid I disagree. My view remains that [British activist] Tommy Robinson is not right for Reform and I never sell out my principles.”

Farage told MailOnline that he is “sorry that Elon disagrees and I doubt that he knows the full story about Robinson, my principles are clear and I don’t change them for anyone. Extremism is not welcome in Reform.”

“I am the leader of Reform UK and we are growing fast and trying to win the next general election,” he said. “This man would not be an asset to our party and we do believe in the rule of law. No former BNP members are welcome in our party.”

Musk previously considered donating to Reform U.K.

“Money was discussed. We are in negotiations about whether he can help. He is fully behind this,” Farage said after meeting with Musk at Mar-a-Lago. “He is motivated enough by what’s going on in Britain to give serious thought to giving money.”

Despite calls for new leadership, Farage’s Reform U.K. surpassed the membership of the Conservative Party. Farage called the development a “historical moment” and wrote on X, “The youngest political party in British politics has just overtaken the oldest political party in the world. Reform UK are now the real opposition.”
