Telemundo reporter Cristina Londoño Rooney told MSNBC on Thursday the nearly fifty illegal aliens Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis sent to Martha’s Vineyard last week were happy to have been flown to the island.
Despite Democrat politicians and media pundits crying DeSantis and Texas Governor Greg Abbott (R) are engaged in “human trafficking” and should be legally punished, Rooney relayed the actual mindset of of the illegal immigrants.
“So, there’s activists here, Jose, that are saying that these people were victims of human trafficking,” she said. “They want an investigation from the Justice Department into what Governor DeSantis is doing, what Governor Greg Abbott is doing, because they’re saying that these people are being abused and used to bring a border crisis deeper into the country.”
Continuing, Rooney chuckled as she told the MSNBC audience, “Now, I can tell you they are not angry at Ron DeSantis. They’re actually thanking him for having brought them to Martha’s Vineyard, where they were very well received. But other people, well, they’re saying they’re being used as political pawns. They don’t resent it for now.”
This admission straight from the horse’s mouth strongly contradicts the political message being shoved down the throat of the American public by pundits like the often unhinged liberal commentator Keith Olbermann.
“A reminder that what @GovRonDeSantis did wasn’t a ‘stunt.’ It was kidnapping, and Human Trafficking. These are federal crimes. The sentence is five years – per victim,” he wrote on Twitter Friday.
Within 48 hours of arriving in the liberal elite vacation hotspot of Martha’s Vineyard, buses were brought in and the group of illegals was removed and relocated to a nearby US military base.
On Sunday, Alex Jones predicted the Justice Department will soon retaliate against Abbott and DeSantis for shipping the illegal immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard.
“…All of them are saying ‘indict Republican governors for human smuggling when they’re the ones that caused the whole thing… Just incredible,” Jones said. “And they control the Justice Dept., so it’ll probably happen.”
