Mayo Clinic Refuses to Conduct Lung Transplant on Unvaccinated Woman

The Mayo Clinic has refused to perform a lung transplant to a mother because she is unvaccinated against COVID-19.

The woman is the mother of Youtuber Toby Turner, who revealed the situation on X.

He wrote on the platform, “The @MayoClinic rejected mom’s lung transplant due to lack of a full COVID ‘vaccination,’” adding, “Mayo with a side of…. murder?!?!!”

Being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 is a requirement for lung transplants, according to a letter sent by the Mayo Clinic.

“Based on guidance from the American Society of Transplantation and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, we require all lung transplant patients receive full vaccination against COVID-19,” the letter read. “At this current time, you indicated that you have not received a COVID-19 vaccination. If you want to be considered for a lung evaluation, you will first need to obtain this vaccination and provide proof that it has been obtained.”

One X user responded to Turner’s post, writing, “@MayoClinic who previously approved my referral & appointment request, completely denied me a follow up appointment (having stroke like episodes) within MINUTES after telling them I’ve since been diagnosed vax injured! Disgusting.”

The Mayo Clinic notes on its website that it requires COVID-19 vaccination because “end-stage organ disease and immunosuppression post-transplant weakens the body’s immune system.”

It adds that “pre- and post-transplant patients are among those at higher risk of severe illness from COVID-19.”

Numerous side effects are associated with the COVID-19 vaccine.

American Faith reported that Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) data reveals that vaccine recipients experienced metallic sensations in the mouth, soreness, and periods of anxiety following the inoculation. Others said they felt lightheaded and experienced tightness in their chest.
