Manhattan Billboard Targets Biden Administration Over Border Policies

A conservative organization is backing a Manhattan billboard portraying migrants involved in a recent altercation with New York Police Department officers, intensifying pressure on the Biden administration regarding its border policies.

Sponsored by the Job Creators Network, the billboard showcases a video of the Times Square incident, which gained widespread attention last month, fueling the ongoing debate on U.S. border security.

The billboard’s headline boldly states, “Hey Joe! If cops aren’t safe because of your open borders, nobody is,” aiming to draw attention to the perceived risks of lenient border enforcement.

It encourages viewers to visit SecureOurBordersNow.com, where they can sign a petition urging President Biden to take firmer action on border control.

Following the incident, Yohenry Brito, 24, faces a $15,000 bail for his alleged involvement, stemming from a confrontation initiated after individuals refused police orders to clear a sidewalk. Additionally, Immigration and Customs Enforcement has detained two co-defendants.

President Biden and Democratic leaders argue that Republicans had an opportunity to address border security within a broader national security bill, which also included provisions for aiding Ukraine and Israel.
