Man Who Told Biden ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ Says 2020 Presidential Election Was ‘100% Stolen’

Dad who trolled Joe Biden by saying “Let’s Go Brandon” on Christmas Eve told Steve Bannon his motive behind the prank and that he believes Biden is in office illegally.

QUICK FACTS:
  • Former Oregon police officer Jared Schmeck made headlines when he told Joe Biden “Let’s go, Brandon” on Christmas Eve, as part of a televised event.
  • Schmeck said that he was surprised to get on television, but decided he wouldn’t waste the opportunity to make a joke and a political statement all in one, according to a report of the conversation.
  • The former police officer outlined some of the attacks he’s suffered by the media since his headline-creating comment, saying that some have attempted to paint him as anti-Trump.
  • Schmeck said that not only is he pro-Trump but also that he believes the former president should be the current president, had the election been tallied correctly.
  • Since his comments on the television show, Schmeck has been labeled as a right-wing extremist and received several “vague” death threats.
IN HIS OWN WORDS:
  • “Once I realized it was on global television, I was pretty surprised, and I have to say I thought it was pretty darn funny. We had a really good laugh about it,” Schmeck told War Room host Steve Bannon.
  • “I know it was said in a joking manner, a humorous manner, but it’s a very serious thing, and it was one way for me to, like, ‘Man, I got a chance to voice my disapproval of this man and his administration,’ so I’m proud of it.”
  • “‘Let’s Go Brandon’ encompasses the entirety of our frustration with Joe Biden, the administration, the leftist mob, the cancel culture, the mainstream media – they’re the ones who made this a thing,” Schmeck said.
  • “As conservatives, we’re able to find humor in this, but there’s terrible things going on,” he continued. “We’ve got the debacle in Afghanistan…we’ve got supply chain issues, we’ve got the inflation rate, we’ve got terrible policies on abortion…the border crisis, the federal mandates regarding vaccines, I mean, there’s more than I could even say.”
BACKGROUND:
  • Schmeck said he was “doxxed” on social media, meaning his personal information was published for anyone to access and use.
  • The “Let’s go, Brandon” chant has become synonymous with the more socially frowned upon chant, “F*** Joe Biden.”
  • This family-friendly version of the chant became popular after the first iteration of it was misinterpreted by a NASCAR reporter, who told the camera that the audience was chanting in support of driver Brandon Brown, who had just won his race on October 2.
