Chelsea Belle O’Donnell, the eldest daughter of liberal talk show host Rosie O’Donnell, was arrested Thursday and faces several serious felony charges related to child neglect and drug possession.
According to Fox News, the charges include possession of methamphetamine, possession of narcotic drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, bail jumping, and resisting or obstructing an officer on October 14.
“The documents filed in the Wisconsin Supreme Court additionally listed that Chelsea was charged with felony counts of maintaining a drug trafficking place, child neglect, drug possession including THC and illegally obtained prescriptions, disorderly conduct and domestic abuse on Sept. 17,” the outlet reported.
Court documents from the Wisconsin Supreme Court also show that Chelsea is facing additional felony charges stemming from a previous incident on September 17.
These charges include maintaining a drug trafficking place, child neglect, drug possession, including THC and illegally obtained prescriptions, as well as disorderly conduct and domestic abuse.
The arrest occurred after police reportedly discovered Chelsea’s 11-month-old child in a home surrounded by meth pipes, adding to the gravity of the situation.
The case has raised significant concern over child welfare and drug abuse issues, making it a troubling chapter for Rosie O’Donnell’s family.
