Lara Trump Declares Bid for RNC Co-Chair, Focuses on Election Integrity

Former President Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, officially declared her candidacy for the position of co-chair at the Republican National Committee (RNC) during an announcement made on X. 

In her statement, she outlined her key focus areas, emphasizing election integrity, voter turnout, and the effective allocation of resources to secure victories. Lara Trump’s candidacy announcement closely followed the resignations of RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel and co-chair Drew McKissick, which were announced the previous day.

In her X post, Lara Trump also extended her endorsement to Michael Whatley for the position of RNC chair, expressing confidence in his ability to lead effectively. She emphasized her commitment to collaborating with Whatley for the betterment of the nation’s future.

Furthermore, Lara Trump addressed a letter to the RNC’s 168 members, highlighting her endorsement by her father-in-law, former President Donald J. Trump, for the co-chair position. With her formal entry into the race, Lara Trump signals her intention to actively contribute to the RNC’s leadership, advocating for principles aligned with the conservative agenda and the party’s overarching goals.
