Kari Lake Vows to Take Election Case to U.S. Supreme Court

Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake vowed Sunday night to take her election challenge all the way to the Supreme Court, if needed. Her statement brought a crowd of thousands to their feet at Turning Point USA’s America Fest conference in Phoenix.

Lake has filed a lawsuit against Maricopa County election officials and Democratic Secretary of State Katie Hobbs for certification of the Nov. 8 results which put Hobbs ahead by just over 17,000 votes.

“They messed with the wrong woman,” Lake said, prompting cheers from the assembled crowd. “We’re not going to take it anymore.”

She went on to promise she’d bring her “strongest ever” lawsuit to the highest court in the nation if necessary: “I’m going to take my election lawsuit, which is the strongest election lawsuit this country’s ever put forth, and I will take it to the Supreme Court, if necessary. I will,” she said.

“You do not steal our vote and get away with it,” Lake declared. “They had to sabotage Election Day operations. They had to steal our vote in broad daylight, and we all noticed.”

Thousands of audience members rose up chanting “Kari, Kari, Kari!” and “USA, USA, USA!” as a sign of their support for her message.

She vowed to continue fighting for their rights. “Our movement is so powerful,” she said. “We will not be silenced.”
