Washington Post Torches Kamala Harris Book Tour as Democrats Look to 2028

Even the liberal media can’t cover for Kamala Harris anymore. The Washington Post editorial board blasted the former vice president’s return to the spotlight, mocking her book tour as “even less compelling than her presidential campaign” and warning Democrats they don’t “have time to waste” on her in 2028.

Harris sat down last week for softball interviews with MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow and ABC’s The View, but still came across as “uncomfortable and inauthentic,” according to the Post. The board said her memoir, 107 Days, proved just as unimpressive, with “virtually every page” reminding readers “why she failed to close the deal” as a national candidate.

The editors accused Harris of settling personal scores and showcasing “the sort of small-mindedness that Democrats rightly knock President Donald Trump for.” Instead of presenting herself as a leader, Harris projected the image of “an A student who tells interviewers her greatest weakness is that she’s just too much of a perfectionist.”

The conclusion was scathing: “Democrats have a real shot at victory in 2028, but they won’t have time to waste on someone like the former vice president.”

Other liberal commentators piled on. Former CNN journalist Chris Cillizza wrote that Harris’ media tour proved “she is simply not a very good politician. And she hasn’t gotten much better over her decades in the business.”

For conservatives, this is nothing new—Harris has long failed to connect with voters. But when even the Washington Post says Democrats must move on, it’s clear her political future is dim.
