“I found God.”
QUICK FACTS:
- Mikhaila Peterson revealed during a podcast that she’s been “reading the Bible and praying” and as a result has felt a peace “that I haven’t had before.”
- Her spiritual change was due to recent “rough experiences,” according to Mikhaila.
- After asking God to reveal himself to her the night before, Mikhaila explained the following morning she “woke up with this sense of calm I hadn’t felt—this sense of calm right here,” she said while pointing to her heart.
- Mikhaila went on to describe a dream she had in which a “loud, thundering voice” told her to “Do it!” which she interprets as God challenging her to “go all-in” with her faith.

BACKGROUND:
- American Faith reported in March how Jordan Peterson—author of 12 Rules for Life and Beyond Order—had also revealed that he believes in Jesus Christ as a real, historical figure.
- “[S]o what you have in the figure of Christ is an actual person who actually lived plus a myth, and, in some sense, Christ is the union of those two things,” Peterson explained, adding, while holding back tears, “I probably believe that but I’m amazed at my own belief, and I don’t understand it.”
