‘Jeopardy!’ Incorprates Woke Pronouns into Category

The popular trivia show Jeopardy! received widespread backlash after a question involved “Xem, Xyrs, Xemself” pronouns.

Contestant Cris Pannullo selected a category called “Speech! Parts of Speech!” The next screen showed “Xem, Xyrs, Xemself.”

He responded, “What are pronouns?” and received $600.

“Those are pronouns! Neopronouns,” said host Ken Jennings.

Fans of Jeopardy! condemned it for going woke.

“@Jeopardy lost a lifetime fan over pronouns,” one social media user wrote. “Never thought you would condone mental illness for viewership.”

One man said the show “used to be good and you could learn something,” adding, “Sorry, you went woke.”

Actor Kevin Sorbo’s wife, Sam Sorbo, wrote on X, “Just because it calls itself a pronoun doesn’t make it a pronoun, #Jeopardy.”
