Boulder Terror Attack Suspect was in the US Illegally Under Biden Admin.

An illegal immigrant, Mohamed Sabry Soliman, is suspected of carrying out a violent terror attack using a makeshift flamethrower on a pro-Israel demonstration in Boulder, Colorado, injuring eight people. Soliman, a 45-year-old Egyptian national, had overstayed his visa and was residing in the United States illegally at the time of the attack.

On Sunday, June 1, 2025, during a peaceful demonstration advocating for Israeli hostages held by Hamas, Soliman allegedly shouted “Free Palestine” while launching Molotov cocktails and using a homemade flamethrower against participants. The victims, aged between 52 and 88, sustained various degrees of burn injuries, with at least one individual in critical condition.

Soliman initially entered the U.S. on a tourist visa in August 2022, which expired in February 2023. He was granted temporary work authorization in March 2023, but it expired in March 2025, rendering his presence in the country unlawful, three different sources from US Homeland Security and Immigration and Customs Enforcement told Fox News.

The FBI and Department of Homeland Security are treating the incident as a targeted act of terrorism. Colorado Governor Jared Polis condemned the attack as a “vicious act of terrorism,” highlighting the need for increased security measures.

The attack occurred during the Jewish holiday of Shavuot, adding to concerns about rising antisemitic violence in the United States. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed solidarity with the victims, emphasizing the importance of combating such acts of hatred.

Soliman was apprehended at the scene and is currently receiving medical treatment for injuries sustained during the attack. Authorities are continuing their investigation to determine the full extent of his motives and any potential connections to extremist groups.
