The Israeli Defense Force (IDF) issued a warning to Iran, stating that its Air Force would continue strong military operations in the Middle East following an Iranian missile attack.
“There is no damage to the competence of the Air Force and it will continue to attack tonight in the Middle East in a powerful way,” the IDF said.
Iran’s retaliation targeted Tel Aviv and Nevatim Air Base with nearly 200 ballistic missiles, many of which were intercepted by Israel’s defense systems.
IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari warned of serious consequences, emphasizing that Israel remains on high alert. U.S. National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan called the attack “ineffective” but said the U.S. was monitoring the situation closely.
The announcement came shortly after Iran fired ballistic missiles at Israel.
“Approx. 10 million civilians are the targets of Iranian projectiles,” the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) wrote on X.
