Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents have arrested multiple illegal aliens with serious criminal convictions, including sex crimes against children, violent assaults, and drug trafficking, according to information exclusively obtained by Breitbart News. The arrests come amid ongoing efforts by the Biden administration to downplay the severity of crimes committed by illegal aliens and shift focus away from enforcement.
Department of Homeland Security spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin condemned the political spin from Democrat leaders who claim ICE is not focused on dangerous criminals. “As Democrat politicians try to bamboozle the American public and assert DHS law enforcement is not targeting the worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens, our brave ICE law enforcement are putting their lives on the line to remove pedophiles, drug traffickers, and other violent thugs from American neighborhoods,” McLaughlin said.
Among those arrested was Guillermo Alberto Guevara-Serrano, an illegal alien from El Salvador, previously convicted of aggravated sexual assault of a child in Dallas County, Texas. ICE agents tracked and apprehended him in a recent operation aimed at removing criminal aliens from sanctuary cities and vulnerable communities.
ICE also arrested Rafi Fouad Tomeh, a Syrian national convicted of possessing obscene material involving a minor. His arrest occurred in Los Angeles, California, a city known for its sanctuary policies that hinder cooperation with federal immigration authorities. Additionally, Jamaican national Orville C. Weir was taken into custody in Florida. He was previously convicted of committing lewd and lascivious acts with a minor in Broward County, a jurisdiction that once maintained sanctuary status.
Two other arrests included Congolese national Andre Lubala, convicted of aggravated assault in Niota, Tennessee, and Mexican national Alex Lopez-Cruz, convicted of conspiracy to distribute cocaine in Austin, Texas.
McLaughlin emphasized the administration’s zero-tolerance approach. “We are not going to allow these heinous criminals to terrorize innocent American children and families,” she stated.
