Contrary to earlier claims by President Joe Biden, his son, Hunter Biden, has been confirmed to have received significant monetary amounts from a Chinese organization.

Hunter Biden’s attorney, Chris Clark, revealed on Wednesday in court that the president’s son obtained $664,000 from CEFC China Energy Co. in 2017.

This disclosure occurred during a hearing before U.S. District Judge Maryellen Noreika.

In his statement, Clark said, “During calendar year 2017, Biden earned substantial income, including: just under $1 million from a company he formed with the CEO of a Chinese business conglomerate [BHR Partners]; $666,666 from his domestic business interests; approximately $664,000 from a Chinese infrastructure investment company[CEFC],” Breitbart News reveals.

CEFC is known for its connections to the Chinese Communist Party and Chinese intelligence agencies.

In addition to the income from CEFC, Clark revealed Hunter Biden received large sums from other business ventures.

These included $500,000 in director’s fees from his association with Burisma Holdings.

An executive from this company reportedly told an FBI informant that he had bribed both Hunter Biden and President Joe Biden with $5 million each.

According to the court transcript obtained by not-for-profit Marco Polo, Clark’s statement further revealed, “From 2017 to 12 2019, he served on the board of a Ukrainian energy company and a Chinese private equity fund. He further negotiated and executed contracts for business and legal services that paid millions of dollars of compensation to him and/or his domestic corporations, Owasco, PC and Owasco, LLC. Through at least early 2017, he also was employed by a prestigious multi-national law firm in an ‘of counsel’ capacity. For this work, he earned substantial income, totaling more than $2.3 million in 2017 and $2.1 million in 2018.”

Clark also disclosed earnings of “$70,000 relating to a Romanian business; and $48,000 from the multi-national law firm.”

These earnings contradict Joe Biden’s prior assertions that his son had not received money from any Chinese entity.

When asked by a reporter in March about an alleged million-dollar transfer to his family members by a business associate of Hunter Biden, President Biden denied the claim, saying, “That’s not true,” Breitbart notes.

During the 2020 election campaign, the president denied, on the debate stage, that he or his son had profited from a Chinese entity, instead accusing former President Donald Trump of making money from China.

Recently, revelations made by House Oversight Committee member James Comer (R-KY) indicated that the Biden family business received over $10 million in questionable returns from business activities in Romania and China over several years.

IRS agent Joseph Ziegler also revealed to Congress last week that Burisma paid the Biden family business $7.3 million over many years, including when Joe Biden served as vice president.

The committee has acquired Suspicious Activity Reports that show a $3 million wire transfer from CEFC China Energy Co. to a Biden associate, Rob Walker.

Subsequently, four members of the Biden family — Hunter, James, Hallie, and an unidentified “Biden”—reportedly received a collective $1.3 million cut from this transfer.

Comer alleged in July that the Biden business established more than 20 shell companies to conceal payments and launder money.

An ongoing investigation is underway into the entities involved in these transactions.
