Hundreds of Students Baptized at University of Alabama

Hundreds of students were baptized at the University of Alabama last week.

“It happened again!” wrote Christian speaker Jennie Allen. “Last night at the University of Alabama thousands of students gathered. Hundreds responded to the gospel and hundreds were baptized.”

In February, baptisms occurred at Florida State University, one of the nation’s top “party schools.”

The spontaneous baptisms come a year after what was considered a revival at Asbury University in Wilmore, Kentucky after students refused to leave a chapel service.

Students participated in around-the-clock prayer services, accompanied by worship music, personal testimonies, altar calls, and religious conversions.

The revival drew interest from believers around the world, with some flying in from places as far as New Zealand and Singapore to experience the Holy Spirit’s presence.
