The Hamas aid lies are unraveling as new data show the United States and Israel are delivering record levels of humanitarian assistance to Gaza—contradicting claims that Israel is blocking aid. According to figures from the U.S.-led Civil-Military Coordination Center, shared with the Washington Free Beacon, an average of 674 humanitarian trucks enter Gaza daily, carrying over 15,000 shipments of food, medicine, and commercial goods since the Oct. 10 ceasefire began.
More than one million Gazans have received food parcels, meal production has surged 82 percent, and aid workers now deliver 17,000 cubic meters of drinking water daily—a 130 percent increase from September. Since the ceasefire, Gazans have received 143,000 medical consultations, 900 surgeries, and 45 trauma referrals, according to U.S. officials. Even basic items long absent from Gaza, such as eggs, have returned to store shelves.
By contrast, Hamas falsely claims that “only 4,453 trucks have entered Gaza,” accusing Israel of a “policy of suffocation, starvation, and political blackmail.” U.S. officials say the Hamas aid lies are part of a broader propaganda effort to mask the terror group’s rampant theft of humanitarian supplies. “The reality is that Hamas leadership has no control over its followers, and looting of humanitarian aid trucks continues to be a problem,” one senior administration official said.
White House spokesman Dylan Johnson credited the Trump administration’s leadership: “These figures show that the Trump administration is serious about treating the people of Gaza with dignity and respect.”
A U.S. official added that “Hamas continues to spread lies through false stats to paint a false picture of starvation to undermine the ceasefire and peace efforts.”
