Former VP Mike Pence Believed to Be Working on His Own Presidential Campaign

Many believe former VP stabbed conservatives in the back due to his certification of the 2020 presidential election.

QUICK FACTS:

• Former President Mike Pence announced he is launching a political advocacy group as part of his continued involvement in the conservative movement, according to The Hill. 
• Pence’s Advancing American Freedom group is meant to defend conservative values in opposition to President Joe Biden’s current administration goals, according to Pence. 
• However, some political analysts believe that this is the next step in a potential bid for the presidency in 2024 for the former vice president. 

As to a possible @Mike_Pence challenge to Trump for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination, the media, as they did with “maverick“ John McCain, will love on Pence for a while—until and unless he won the nomination. Afterwards, they’ll revert to calling Pence a racist and a fascist.

PENCE’S GROUP’S MISSION STATEMENT:

“Advancing American Freedom plans to build on the success of the last four years by promoting traditional Conservative values and promoting the successful policies of the Trump Administration,” Pence said in the statement. “Conservatives will not stand idly by as the radical Left and the new administration attempt to threaten America’s standing as the greatest Nation in the world with their destructive policies.”

• As early as the summer of 2021 Pence was believed to be “laying the groundwork” for a White House bid, much to the chagrin of many conservatives.
