Former Clinton Advisors Slam Socialist Takeover

Former Clinton officials are sounding the alarm about the growing threats posed by the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA).

Jamie Metzl, a former member of President Bill Clinton’s National Security Council, warned over the weekend that the DSA is a “fundamental threat” to the nation.

“I am a lifelong Democrat. I served on President Clinton’s National Security Council and in the State Department under Madeleine Albright. I am also a lifelong human rights and civil rights advocate,” Metzl wrote on X. “But every Democrat and every American should recognize that the DSA represents a fundamental threat to our party and our country.”

“This is not a story about a few idealists seeking to reduce healthcare costs. It is about a small group of radical extremists pursuing a strategy to take over the Democratic Party and ultimately our country in order to impose an agenda that would devastate our economy and fundamentally dismantle our system of government,” he continued.

Former Hillary Clinton advisor Al Mottur similarly called DSA members “ideologues.”

“These people, they’re not crazy, they’re ideologues. They don’t love America, let me say that,” Mottur said during a Fox News interview. “A lot of these people do not love America and I’m not team Democrat, I’m team America. And if we have people in our party who are so far Left, that they are saying we don’t want to protect people from crime, well, that’s just absurd. And, by the way, we’re not going to win a national election, let alone an election in Michigan, if that’s our position.”

The DSA recently released an updated party platform that calls for a “multi-party democracy” to replace the “two-party system.” It further urges the expansion of the House of Representatives and the abolishment of the Senate.
