Florida Lawmakers Begin Discussion on Disney, Migrant Transportation

Florida lawmakers began their special session to discuss state takeover of Disney World’s self-governing district as well as the expansion of migrant transportation. The Disney legislation in focus would require the Reedy Creek Improvement District, the Disney government, to become the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District with an oversight board. Lawmakers are also looking to establish the Unauthorized Alien Transport Program to move migrants within the country.

From Newsmax:

Another proposal expected to pass during the session would enhance the ability of the statewide prosecutor to bring election crime charges, a move meant to strengthen the power of the governor's new election police force.
