Fifth Illegal Migrant Bus Arrives in Los Angeles

A fifth bus containing illegal immigrants from Texas arrived in Los Angeles over the weekend.

Around 48 illegals arrived into Union Station just before noon on Saturday morning as Texas continues to relocate migrants to big cities all across the United States.

“The city has continued to work with city departments, the county, and a coalition of nonprofit organizations, in addition to our faith partners, to execute a plan set in place earlier this year,” Democrat Mayor Karen Bass said. “As we have before, when we became aware of the bus yesterday, we activated our plan.”

According to the “Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles,” the migrants were immediately taken to a school where they were evaluated for medical issues, provided food and given access to other resources.

From Fox News:

The first bus of migrants sent from Texas to Los Angeles arrived in the city back in June. Multiple relocations from Texas to Los Angeles have occurred in the weeks since, including over the Independence Day holiday weekend.

The buses that arrived on Saturday were the third set of buses to arrive in the city in the last 10 days. The last buses before Saturday arrived on Tuesday.
