FedEx Files Lawsuit Against MyPillow Over Unpaid Shipping Fees

FedEx has filed a lawsuit against MyPillow and its founder, Michael Lindell, accusing the company of failing to pay over $8.8 million in shipping fees. The legal action, filed in federal court, claims that MyPillow has failed to pay several invoices dating back to February 2021, marking the start of their contractual relationship.

According to court documents, FedEx alleges that MyPillow neglected to settle not only the original shipping fees but also the late charges that accumulated as a result. FedEx’s lawsuit argues that this constitutes a breach of contract, with the company seeking reimbursement for the outstanding fees.

The lawsuit sheds light on the growing tensions between the two companies, as FedEx asserts that MyPillow’s refusal to pay the invoices is impacting its business operations. MyPillow, led by Lindell, is known for its controversial stance on various political issues, though the lawsuit does not cite any connection between these matters and the dispute over the shipping fees.

FedEx is now pursuing legal action in order to recover the owed amount, and it remains to be seen how the case will unfold in court.

In August 2021, Lindell is pulled MyPillow ads from Fox News after they refused to run a commercial, saying that it claimed there was “voter fraud” in the 2020 election. The news meant that Fox News would lose one of its biggest advertisers.

The Wall Street Journal was the first to report on the news. Company founder Mike Lindell told The Daily Beast in an interview, “shame on Fox News! Shame on them.”

“When I was told they wouldn’t run the ad, I said to cut off advertising on Fox immediately and indefinitely,” added Lindell, according to Yahoo News.

However, it was reported by Human Events‘ Jack Posobiec that the ad made “NO CLAIMS about the election,” and that instead the ad was a “promo” for an upcoming event.
