Fauci was previously required to turn over emails regarding the case.
QUICK FACTS:
- Louisiana Attorney General Jeff Landry, filed a lawsuit (Missouri v. Biden) against the Biden Administration alleging collusion between federal officials and tech companies.
- The suit alleges that U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) head Dr. Anthony Fauci, the Department of Homeland Security, and nearly a dozen federal agencies and Secretaries worked to censure information about COVID-19 origins, Hunter Biden’s laptop, 2020 Election Integrity, and other issues.
- The plaintiffs, led by Missouri AG Schmitt, were granted limited discovery, compelling the government as well as Facebook and Twitter to turn over documents between parties.
- The court granted Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt’s request to depose Dr. Fauci, Jen Psaki, FBI Special Agent Elvis Chan, and others.
- Fauci’s deposition will take place on November 23rd.
ALTERNATIVE MEDIA’S ROLE IN THE CASE:
- The Gateway Pundit and founder Jim Hoft have been assisting Schmitt’s team in providing evidence of Facebook and Twitter’s censorship of the GP on the issues.
- Evidence provided by conservative media was in the First Amended Complaint and was also given to the Louisiana Federal Court.
- Hoft later became the lead non-governmental plaintiff in the lawsuit against the federal agencies, since which time Schmitt’s team has become engaged in a struggle to obtain all the necessary documents.
BACKGROUND:
- In September of this year, a federal judge gave Fauci three weeks to turn over their “misinformation” emails, as American Faith previously reported.
- Judge Terry Doughty has ruled that the Biden Administration has 21 days to produce emails regarding “misinformation” censorship.
- Specifically targeted are White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre and Dr. Anthony Fauci as well as their communications with the social platforms about the spread of unapproved information.
