The latest files also revealed that Ghislaine Maxwell did not comply with discovery requests seeking information on her connection with the Clinton Foundation.
“Defendant has refused to comply with a discovery request seeking information about her connection to the Clinton Foundation,” the document reads, “claiming that such a request is ‘obviously intended to harass and embarrass’ her.”
The document adds that if Maxwell was “receiving funding from the Clinton Foundation, that would provide a clear motive for her to slant testimony on this subject.”
Donald Trump was also mentioned in the latest batch of unsealed files.
According to the documents, Trump did not stay at the Palm Beach mansion.
“So [Trump] didn’t come and stay there, did he?” a witness is asked. “He would come for a meal?”
The witness said that Trump “would come, have dinner. He never sat at the table. He eat with me in the kitchen.”
