An elderly Jewish couple walking to their Synagogue in Beverly Hills, California were attacked over the weekend.
Raphy, 75, and his wife Rebecca, 70 were approached by a man who used a belt in the attack.
According to Rebecca, who wished not to reveal her last name for security reasons, said the man yelled “Give me your earrings Jew.”
“At first, it was a shock. There was a huge hard knock on my forehead here,” Raphy said.
The attacker, identified as Jarris Jay Silagi, was booked on charges including elder abuse, attempted robbery, and assault with a deadly weapon.
