DOJ Launches ‘Strike Force’ to Assess Intelligence Drop

The Department of Justice launched what it is calling a “Strike Force” to assess the materials released by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard.

“The Department of Justice is proud to work with my friend Director Gabbard and we are grateful for her partnership in delivering accountability for the American people,” Attorney General Pam Bondi said upon announcing the Strike Force. “We will investigate these troubling disclosures fully and leave no stone unturned to deliver justice.”

Last week, Gabbard released information revealing that the Obama administration “manufactured and politicized intelligence to lay the groundwork for what was essentially a years-long coup against President Trump.” Earlier this week, she unveiled a report destroying the narrative that Russian President Vladimir Putin wanted to help President Donald Trump win in 2016.

“President Obama, former Director of the CIA John Brennan, and others fabricated the Russia Hoax, suppressed intelligence showing Putin was preparing for a Clinton victory, manufactured findings from shoddy sources, disobeyed IC standards, and knowingly lied to the American people,” Gabbard wrote on social media, sharing the report. Then-President Obama “ordered the Intelligence Community to create an Intelligence Community Assessment they knew was false, promoting a contrived narrative, with the intent of undermining the legitimacy and power of a duly elected President of the United States, Donald Trump,” she added.

Gabbard told reporters of the documents surrounding Obama, “The evidence that we have found and that we have released directly points to President Obama leading the manufacturing of this intelligence assessment. There are multiple pieces of evidence and intelligence that confirm that fact.”
