Disney Fans Turn Against Rachel Zegler After Actress Makes Snarky Remarks

Disney fans criticized Rachel Zegler from the upcoming Snow White after the leading actress condemned the original 1937 film.

In one interview, Zegler called the prince a “stalker.”

Zelger said in another interview that the character is “not gonna be saved by the prince, and she’s not gonna be dreaming about true love.”

One TikTok user posted a clip from one of Zegler’s interviews, saying that she has “never seen such a condescending, smug Disney princess ever in my life.”

Another TikTok user discussed the “pseudo-feminism” of Zegler’s comments and Disney’s portrayal of classic princesses.

“I could literally write a PhD thesis on the pseudo feminism that is criticizing Disney princesses,” she said.

“Criticizing Disney princesses is not feminist. Not every woman is a leader. Not everyone woman wants to be a leader. Not every woman wants or craves power and that’s okay. It is not anti-feminist to want to fall in love, to want to get married, to want to stay at home, to be soft, to be a homemaker. None of these things make you less valuable as a person or a woman.”

@cosywithangie Just because a woman values something different, does not make her any less valuable. Some women want a career and not marriage. Some women want a marriage or family and not a job. Some women want BOTH. All are to be heard, and seen, and valued. Write stories about ALL women and depict them ALL as valuable and worthy, instead of trying to mold them into one specific image of what you deem worthy. Reporting from Breitbart:

Zegler was recently interviewed on the SAG-AFTA picket line, where she declared that if she has to stand around 18 hours in costume as a Disney princess, then “I deserve to be paid for every hour that [Snow White] is streamed online.”

Her sense of entitlement has only inflamed the public’s resentment toward her.
