In the latest release of “Tucker on Twitter,” former Fox News host Tucker Carlson conducted an exclusive interview with Devon Archer, once a business associate of Hunter Biden.
During the interview, Archer painted a detailed picture of the business dealings of President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter.
Archer had testified before the House Oversight Committee the previous Monday, outlining, among other things, private phone conversations with President Biden that took place in the presence of foreign executives.
During his conversation with Carlson, Archer stated that there had been almost twenty instances of such calls over a decade where Hunter’s business partners were in the room while he conversed with his father.
Carlson proposed that “Joe Biden, who is very much a product of Washington,” must have been aware that his calls were essentially taking place in a business setting.
“Something’s happening. He must have understood that that was kind of what his son was selling,” he suggested.
In response, Archer remained cautious.
“Well that’s hard for me to speculate,” he said.
When Carlson insisted that the then-Vice President must have known about the business associates present during the calls, Archer conceded.
“Yeah, I think I can definitively say at particular dinners and meetings, he knew there were business associates and he, or if I was there, I was a business associate too. So I think, you know, any of the other colleagues from the DC office or New York were there,” Archer clarified.
Archer even called Joe Biden’s presence during the meetings an “abuse of soft power.”
Carlson further questioned Archer about a letter from Biden dated January 20, 2011.
In the letter, Biden, then Vice President, apologized for his inability to speak with Archer while he was hosting the former Chinese President Hu.
The note also expressed Biden’s wish to see Archer again soon, together with Hunter.
Archer explained that Biden was appreciative of his suggestion to extend the governmental regulatory strategic advisory business into the private equity sector.
The letter suggested that Biden interacted with foreign governments during his tenure as Vice President.
Finally, Archer divulged the reason behind Hunter joining the board of Burisma, a Ukrainian energy firm.
Archer asserted that Hunter’s involvement offered the company the advantages associated with the “Biden brand.”
Both Archer and Carlson agreed it was “disingenuous” to feign uncertainty about why Burisma recruited Hunter, who was on the board from 2014 to 2019.
