Delta Airlines to Pause Flights to Tel Aviv From New York City

Delta Air Lines announced Tuesday it will suspend flights between New York’s JFK airport and Tel Aviv until March 2025 due to growing safety concerns amidst the escalating conflict in Israel.

The airline has issued travel waivers for affected passengers and extended the suspension of services, which was initially through the end of 2024.

Delta joins several other airlines worldwide in halting flights to Israel and revising routes to avoid Iranian and Lebanese airspace, prioritizing passenger safety amid rising tensions in the region.
