Former Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino announced that he would be returning as a podcast show host next month.
The show, to be live-streamed on Rumble and distributed on all major audio podcast platforms, will return on February 2 and will air on weekdays from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM ET. The show brings Bongino’s “unique insider perspective back to his loyal audience following a year of government service,” a press release shared to Bongino’s social media reads. Westwood One will be the exclusive sales partner for the show.
“The new version of The Dan Bongino Show will expand on its legacy with a renewed focus on Washington insights, behind-the-scenes details from his time in government, and a message of hope and resilience in the conservative movement,” the release adds.
Bongino said in a statement upon announcing the shift, “Thank you all for allowing me to serve you.” He added, “There’s a lot to talk about.”
Bongino announced his plan to resign from his government role in December. “I will be leaving my position with the FBI in January. I want to thank President Trump, AG Bondi, and Director Patel for the opportunity to serve with purpose,” he said at the time. “Most importantly, I want to thank you, my fellow Americans, for the privilege to serve you. God bless America, and all those who defend Her.”
FBI Director Kash Patel described Bongino as the “best partner” in “helping restore the FBI.”
“He brought critical reforms to make the organization more efficient, led the successful Summer Heat op, served as the people’s voice for transparency, and delivered major breakthroughs in long unsolved cases like the pipe bomb investigation. And that’s only a small part of the work he went about every single day delivering for America,” Patel wrote. “He not only completed his mission – he far exceeded it. We will miss him but I’m thankful he accepted the call to serve. Our country is better and safer for it.”
