Cruz Calls Harris’s KKK Comparison ‘Grotesque’, Admits Compelling AG Track Record

In the latest episode of his podcast “Verdict,” Senator Ted Cruz criticized Vice President Kamala Harris’s track record in office, asserting that her policies have been detrimental to the wellbeing of Americans. Following Harris’s acceptance speech for the Democratic presidential nomination, Cruz, a Texas Republican, stated, “her record has been about siding with everyone but the American people.”

Cruz took a strong stance, saying, “As a senator, and now as vice president, her actions have favored criminals, drug cartels, human traffickers, the ayatollah, as well as Hamas and Hezbollah. This, he claims, is due to the funds she directed to the ayatollah, which ended up supporting Hamas and Hezbollah. Furthermore, he accused Harris of being lenient towards Communist China, noting her speech’s lack of focus on China, which he views as indicative of the administration’s cozy relationship with the country from the start.

Highlighting Harris’s voting record, Cruz remarked, “She was the Senate’s most liberal member, voting even more to the left than Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, which is an impressive feat.”

Cruz also criticized Harris for her comparison of immigration agents to the KKK during her tenure as a senator, deeming it “grotesque and offensive.” However, he acknowledged her approach to emphasizing her achievements as attorney general, an approach he admits can be compelling. “As a state AG, you get to pursue widely approved cases, boasting efforts on behalf of the elderly and veterans,” he conceded.

In his concluding remarks, Cruz reiterated his belief that Harris’s policies have consistently harmed Americans.
