Conservative Parent Group Calls for Target to Remove LGBTQ Christmas Items

Conservative group One Million Moms has launched a petition condemning Target for selling Christmas-themed LGBTQ items.

“Target has made a deliberate decision to display controversial products instead of wholesome ones at Christmas – a Christian holiday,” a statement from One Million Moms reads. “This is a terrible plan on Target’s part, especially at this time of year, the season that should be the most profitable time of year for companies.”

“Let Target know that as a conservative parent and consumer, you are disgusted by their recent merchandising choices. The corporation’s leaders have failed to get the message that when you go woke, you go broke. And yes, 1MM will continue to remind them every time that they choose ‘progressive’ business decisions,” the statement continues.

At the time of writing, the petition has garnered 15,444 signatures.

“Target is attempting to brainwash children by convincing them that homosexuality and transgenderism are normal, further indoctrinating children. Woke marketing campaigns cause parents to lose respect for a company, and complaints should be taken seriously, especially at this crucial time of year,” the petition says. “I urge Target to immediately stop displaying these controversial products, including the gay Santas and pride Nutcrackers, and pull all the LGBTQ Christmas décor off your shelves immediately. Continuing to push these LGBTQ Christmas products will force my family and I to make the decision to no longer purchase any items from Target unless your company remains neutral in the culture war.”

Upon the release of the Pride-centric Christmas decorations, social media users called for another Target boycott.

“You would think they would have learned from the last time,” one user wrote on X. “When will companies finally start to realize it? Go woke [arrow emoji] go broke!”
