Comer Biden Autopen Investigation Heats Up

House Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. James Comer (R-KY) said Friday that his investigation into the use of the autopen in the Biden White House has so far yielded no evidence that President Joe Biden was personally involved in approving or directing its use. However, Comer emphasized that the probe is far from over and may soon reach senior White House aides and Biden family members.

Speaking to Fox News host Sean Hannity, Comer described troubling testimony from witnesses close to the president. He noted that individuals expected to have firsthand knowledge of Biden’s activities claimed to remember nothing. “Our witness today couldn’t recall anything, just like our witness earlier from a couple of days ago, Dr. O’Connor. He pled the Fifth,” Comer said.

According to Comer, despite reports placing Joe Biden in the White House, no witnesses have actually confirmed seeing him or observing his role in signing documents. “It adds fuel to the fire that there was a select few… calling the shots,” Comer said. He believes a small, centralized group may have been orchestrating White House actions with minimal input from the president.

The use of the autopen—an automated signature device for signing official documents—has raised serious concerns among congressional Republicans following reports that key presidential actions may have been rubber-stamped without Biden’s direct involvement. Comer stated that while no concrete evidence yet links Biden to directing or approving its use, more depositions are coming.

Comer mentioned plans to bring in former White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain and possibly others “higher” in the chain of command. He added that members of Biden’s immediate family could also face questioning if evidence implicates them in the process.

“If Joe Biden’s name was forged on these executive orders and these pardons, then those executive orders and pardons are going to face a tough future in a court of law,” Comer warned.
