Christmas Parade Killer Drove in ‘Zig zag’ Pattern to ‘Hit as Many’ People as Possible: Eyewitness Accounts

Eyewitness reports in affidavit confirm Darrell Brooks attack was deliberate.

QUICK FACTS:
  • According to the criminal complaint filed against the Christmas parade murderer, Darrell Brooks drove in a zigzag path in order to “hit as many” people as possible, proving that the slaughter was planned.
  • Brooks killed 6 people, injured at least 62, left 13 children hospitalized, and 6 in critical condition when the ex-con drove his SUV into the Waukesha Christmas parade on Sunday.
  • In the criminal complaint, eyewitness Officer Butryn stated Brooks’ vehicle “appeared to rapidly accelerate” and “took an abrupt left turn into the crowd of parade participants.”
  • The officer went on to explain that Brooks was committing “an intentional act to strike and hurt as many people” as possible.
  • Officer Butryn then said Brooks’ vehicle was “intentionally moving side to side, striking multiple people.”
  • At least two eyewitnesses who spoke to police at the scene said Brooks’ SUV was driving in a zigzag pattern with “a direct intent to hit as many parade participants.”
WHAT THE CRIMINAL COMPLAINT SAID:

Detective Trussoni spoke with multiple citizen witnesses who were present during the parade. One witness indicated, “As I continued to watch the SUV, it continued to drive in a zig zag motion. It was like the SUV was trying to avoid vehicles, not people. There was no attempt made by the vehicle to stop, much less slow down.”

Detective Trussoni spoke with another witness who described the same zig zag driving pattern by the SUV and the witness further indicated, he felt it was “a direct intent to hit as many parade participants.”

BACKGROUND:
  • 8-year-old Jackson Sparks, injured in the attack, died on Tuesday after undergoing brain surgery following the incident.
  • Summit News points out how mainstream media continue to refer to the massacre as a “parade crash” or “accident,” refusing to acknowledge that it was a deliberate attack as eyewitnesses to the massacre prove.

  • “The media appears to be completely uninterested in what motivated Brooks to carry out the massacre in Wisconsin just two days after the Kyle Rittenhouse verdict,” the article asserts. “It’s becoming abundantly clear that this was a domestic terror attack, or at least a violent hate crime massacre, motivated by Brooks’ race hate and political extremism.”
