Christian Rapper’s Song ‘Like Eminem’ Removed from Spotify, Apple Music

Christian conservative rapper Bryson Gray recently announced on Twitter that his song “Like Eminem” has been removed from Spotify and appears to be deleted from Apple Music as well, according to a report from The Blaze.

Gray expressed his frustrations, stating, “Well, it’s official. My song ‘Like Eminem’ has been banned in everything except for my personal YouTube channel as of now. I wonder who has been reporting it? I’m used to it though.”

The song, which contains controversial lyrics, has been given a greyed-out status on Spotify, rendering it unavailable for streaming.

However, the video version of the song remains accessible on Gray’s YouTube channel.

In “Like Eminem,” Gray addresses the perceived double standard between his music and that of Eminem, whose songs containing similar lyrics have not been banned.

The song’s intro features Gray stating, “I find it funny that my songs get banned for offending the LGBT but, but Eminem used to threaten them in his songs and his music is still up. I got the answer, I can make a song like Eminem.”

The lyrics of Gray’s song include lines such as, “Eminem threatened gay people in his songs, I’m not that bad, I just want to deport them to Iran or Baghdad. I mean, they wanna leave anyway, why are they that mad? I’m not mean, I just got some questions I wanna ask f**s.”

Eminem’s song “Marshall Mathers,” which remains uncensored and available on Spotify, contains explicit and offensive language directed at the LGBTQ+ community.

Gray’s song “Let’s Go Brandon,” which mocked President Biden, was banned from YouTube in October 2021 for “medical misinformation,” The Blaze notes.

The song, which reached the top of the iTunes charts and made it onto four separate Billboard charts, included a sound bite of President Biden saying, “You’re not going to get COVID if you have these vaccinations.”
