Canadian Freedom Convoy Now 43 Miles Long With Tens of Thousands of Participants

  • Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau called the group a “fringe minority” with “unacceptable views” that don’t represent most of Canadians, according to Global News.
  • According to Fox News, The Canadian Trucking Alliance estimates that about 15% of truckers in the country are not fully vaccinated, or about 16,000 truck drivers.
  • Despite Trudeau’s estimates, the tens of thousands of trucks have also been met with throngs of supporters at the towns along their path, with flags, signs, and other shows of support for the “Freedom Convoy ” participants.
BACKGROUND:
